Awesome!

Do you have to pass the 'quiz' to get the drive, or is that just a survey?

you have to pass the quiz, but it's quite easy.

Are these right?

is microsoft going to send you alotta product info and advertising stuff though?

How much will this thing probably hold?

and is it possible that they can make it read only?

click on the 'valuble information -- get yours' thing on the top/mid right.

Looks like its still going to me.

When I click on the 'valuable information' nothing happens.

oh yeah, it work.

Is there a catch to this? Does it cost shipping fee?

I don't believe there is a catch. I've gotton lots of free stuff online. most notably a $40 gas card.

ok, I will ask my parent if I am allow to do it. Since they are asking for a address, hopefully they don't charge shipping and don;t make them read only.

what are the answers ?

Err the button doesn't work for me either.

And javascript does work on my computer. Other buttons of a similar type (ie. javascript) work fine. And it's not the firewall and it's not the AV and I've tried in the latest versions of FF and IE.... any ideas?

Also will they ship to the UK?

it just worked fine for me it will be here in "6-8 weeks with alot of valueable info."

i ****ing hope its not read only.. well if it is we can make a post trying to crack it ? i think that could be fun(sry is this is against forum rules)

Nah, nothing wrong with trying to erase some data. It will be interesting... but if they did make it read-only they probably would have made the actual memory read-only, so like when you buy a music CD from a shop you physically can't overwrite the data.

Those of you who can't get the link to work, try viewing the page and typing

javascript:usb()

directly into the browsers address bar, that might work.

I did that, it was the first thing I did after clicking the button didn't work. And it still doesn't work for me. Still don't know why.

  • 3 weeks later...

Wow, that's interesting. Do you think it would be read-only?
