Last week I've made four ATM withdrawals. This morning I've noticed that my account balance went up compared to a couple of days ago. Then I've noticed that all four ATM transactions disappeared from my activities. That is the total amount by which the balance grew.

What should I do about it, if anything?

Especially strange as we're talking about a major US bank here... I'll call them later.

My experience is that banks always figure out their mistakes. I imagine simply giving up and saying 'we can't figure out why our numbers don't match' is unacceptable.

Try hard refresh on your browser. May be as simple as loading a cached version of the page

It's not the browser. I get the same data on the phone.

Audit trails on bank data updates are hardcore and deeply enforced given international laws. Will likely fix itself within 48 hours if not sooner.

If you call customer service, however, expect to be on hold 20 minutes only to reach a poorly trained contractor reading a script who won’t be able to help anyway.

It was less than a minute, but yes, nothing new. They see the same data. The only suggestion they have was to wait for the monthly statement.

As you guys expected, they have fixed it. All the missing transactions have been posted in a batch.

For clarity. Mind you, I rang a local chap in NW Scotland and he flummoxed me totally. I apologised for not understanding him and he sent me an email instead! :D
