To sieve, means to separate wanted elements from unwanted elements. In this case primes from non primes. A true formula would allow you to skip that step and jump straight to the desired Primes.

Now all the formulas I've seen would require knowledge of all the infinite primes prior to use. Wee bit of an issue there...

I really don't see how anyone is even vaguely surprised about the cultural shift underway in the US towards soccer.

Pretty much everyone else in the World likes soccer, so lot of money available for advertising. We have a changing population dynamic. More opportunities for "Sports" Tourism with soccer than football, so stadiums/cities stand to make more money from a shift. A ton of force on one side and very little on the other.

I was thinking hydroponics for at least the vessel. Would mainly depend on space required and energy input, versus sending supplies on ahead of time. Would depend on the CO2 scrubber less and also save on dumping oxygen(locked up in CO2) overboard. Not exactly a lot of freely available oxygen where the ship is headed, so conservation could make more sense than replacement.

Long term colonization, would almost certainly require some form. At the very least it could serve as a backup to the backup of the backup. With a decent amount of processing could produce usable dirt from martian 'soil' and composting. That would make more sense instead of shipping it.

I was thinking chickens, cavies and insects would be some of the most probable options if livestock is desired. Obviously assorted plants and cultured meat could also work(for protien). Probably going to end up relying on a variety of sources rather than just one in particular.

The black hole is a tape (space) effected by interaction of tremendous gravitational influence, this force doesn't allow substance (matter) to exist in form, other then in its effect on it. The interaction of such a force on the tape makes it posses the properties we associate with black holes.

A furnace outside of a observable universe, would follow the same course as one in a observable universe, the distance you allude to is a moot point, nor does it takes away from the special tape theory.

What could keep us from feeling the heat radiated by your hypothetical furnace? Assume empty void between here and there, so no need to worry about absorption or anything else.

Note: 'Observable' is not an allusion to a particular distance. The whole of what you will ever be able to see could fit inside your dwelling and it would make no meaningful difference(though it would necessitate a face to face conversation).

The space in a room seems to have the qualities of distance and volume, thus I conclude that space et al, must conform to the interaction placed upon it by the variable, otherwise it's inert, and of a special tape like substance.

All the means by which DNA is changed are essentially known. It has some tricks but nothing to adapt it to a specific environment.

It generally doesn't want to to change if it can help it. You make changes and you are more likely to end up worse off than before.

Now other life can contribute in a positive fashion. Other life has undergone a selective bias and is composed of code that is functional if nothing else. That incorporation(in assorted forms) is a more useful effect in terms of progress. We have our mitochondria for example. Their incorporation was random, but leveraging the power of essentially parallel processing was a tremendous boon for both.

Acids, compressed air shot poisons/toxins, incendiaries, explosives. It really doesn't take that much. Less obvious stuff you can do depending on your target and their environment.

IMO non-military drone attacks are not likely to use guns.

The translation was written as a long stream of emotions: *Happy* *Joy* *Sad* *Glad*. The whale song itself though was pure sound that began playing as you approached.

That was part of the strangeness, nothing was organized in a human fashion.

I think that was the part I woke up at though. I remember being more disturbed by the fact that the translation was written in English than anything else. Makes you think about how recently they must have returned and why they decided to write in an 'alien' language.

I've had many strange dreams but that one in particular stuck with me.

I only tend to realize I'm dreaming when I want to get out of a dream. Very disturbing asleep to awake effect with no intermission. Most of my dreams offer some kind of interest though, so doesn't happen too often. In retrospect I am realizing I have a lot of oddball structure dreams. Not sure what to make of that...

One of my more memorable dreams was an museum built by apparent Aliens(not present).

I was with a group of researchers and mercenaries, trekking along this narrow winding island path. The museum itself was an open hive-like structure with "displays" inside of honeycombs covered with green crystal. Some of the displays included original roman fort blueprints, a large prehistoric leg bone and *translated* whale song.

Still reflect fondly on that one. Right mix of mystery and marvels.
