Does length contraction imply a superposition of particles? [answered: no]
Space and time (like length, breadth, and height) are certainly not physical...I thought you agreed with that. Yet they (spacetime) warp, twist, curve in the presence of mass/energy. That still doesn't make spacetime ( or space and time) physical.

The warping and curvature of spacetime, by mass/energy, causes light to follow geodesic paths and such phenomena as gravitational lensing. The interchangebility of space and time. https://www.physicsoftheuniverse.com/topics_relativity_spacetime.html#:~:text=Thus%2C space and time are, approaching the speed of light.

I have never done any course or real study of SR/GR, but what I have learnt is that space ( length) and time are interchangeable and relative. Afterall isn't that why its called relativity? Certainly true, but then again, does something need to be physical to be determined as real? Length, breadth, height, time, space, are all relevant, scientific and applicable to what they are referring to. And in that respect, real, at least imho.

The Nature of Reality
This is a science forum and that's how science works. Just be aware that supernatural and paranormal concepts, myths and ideas, are unscientific at best, and gullibly nonsensical at worst. You mean just like you have just done? There is no way of knowing what the total energy is. Plus of course, as so logically and reasonably explained in Lawrence Krauss'book, "A Universe from Nothing", it is imo anyway, far easier to imagine the quantum foam (nothing) having existed for eternity, then some complicated, unscientific, mythical deity of your choice. That is not science, although "we dont know" is also an acceptable answer. Was that a science book you got that quote from? The Universe expands over larger scales....over smaller scales, gravity decouples regions of spacetime from that expansion,eg: Our local group of galaxies. DE refers to the acceleration in that expansion rate, and is a place mat for "we actually don't know exactly why" The BB says nothing about the single point that was the instant of the BB. The BB tells us about the evolution of space and time from 10-35th seconds after the event. Some reasoanble scientific speculation does exist though. While the BB is applicable to the observable universe, the rest of your proclamation is based on nothing more then mythical ideas to support what I see as a religious, unscientific agenda. The bible is not a science book, and in actual fact is simply a gathering of mythical stories, in an obscure time and written by obscure men.

Alien origin thought experiment.
Of course it is...a more advanced species understands that mathematics is a universal laguage, Lions and Babel fish not withstanding.

☺️ Sure there's a whole lot of space, but also an uncountable number of planets, asteroids, comets etc etc...easy pickings for a space faring, inter stellar travelling species.

Dogs and/or Cats
The one problem that can be of concern is hips displacia and back complications, which was the cause of the demise of the three dogs my parents had. My two, have been taught never to jump off or on the lounge/bed and to just ask first and they will be lifted.

Alien origin thought experiment.
I actually meant inter-stellar travel, as obviously the only advanced species in our system is Planet Earth. What is it that we find on Earth, that is not plentiful throughout the galaxy?

Alien origin thought experiment.
Raw materials that are found anywhere, rather then under taking inter planetary travel?

Dogs and/or Cats
Perhaps the fact that the black and tans Dachy's, are the same colouration as the Rottweilers and my old mate....my parents bred the miniature red Dachy's. The best advantage of this dog, is that they do not get any doggy smell about them (my wife suffers from asthma) and ease of maintenance in general, along with the fact that they are great feet warmers in bed.

Alien origin thought experiment.
Which threat level? us to them, or them to us? I certainly don't see them as a threat as they would be technologically advanced, and any Alien species advanced enough to take on interstellar travel, would not really want for anything. Everything we have On Earth is spread throughout the universe in large enough quantities, and as such, for us to approach any Alien species in a belligerent fashion, would not really make any sense. I think you have misunderstood. It is us that some construe as ants on an ant hill, compared to inter-stellar travelling Aliens...Perhaps that misunderstanding is my fault the following should be (2) They would also more then likely have studied us for a period of time, and in that study, realize that while not as advanced as they are, we certainly are not anything like the comparisons we often hear, eg: Ants on an anthill/ Aliens...not Ants on an anthill/human. Obviously. Not sure though wht anyone would equate, as one is scientifically validated, the other is just speculation.

THE WORLD’S FIRST WARP BUBBLE FINALLY CREATED?
Both Siegal and White it seems. My own doubts certainly existed, (at least as per the OP claim and that of White) as such a discovery in reality would be breathtakingly ground breaking and had the science world acting with far more interest then it has.

(1) Any Alien species visiting Earth, would certainly be technologically advanced. (2) They would also more then likely have studied us for a period of time, and in that study, realize that while not as advanced as they are, we certainly are not anything like the comparisons we often hear, eg: Ants on an anthill/ human. (3) Being advanced and understanding 2, they would not have anything really to fear, and in deciding to make contact, would do it in a way that had their own protection as paramount, without any projection of violence etc towards us. (4) They would also most likely announce any proposed official revelation of their visit before hand. (5) On our part, if 4 was undertaken, I don't believe we would approach them belligerently, and enough reasonable people along with the science would prepare peacfully for that first contact. Some points I take as a given to support the above....Any Alien species advanced enough to take on interstellar travel, would not really want for anything. Everything we have On Earth is spread throughout the universe in large enough quantities, and for us to approach any Alien species in a belligerent fashion, would not really make any sense. I see the same approach made in the name of humanity/mankind, if and when we find evidence of life elsewhere, that has evolved beyond the single cell stage and approaching our own advancement and/or intelligence. Or perhaps the movie "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" is somewhere near what I believe first contact should/would probably be like.

THE WORLD’S FIRST WARP BUBBLE FINALLY CREATED?
OK, that seems to make sense to me. So the "But in principle, it could be used to warp space in the negative fashion that would be needed to create one" is somewhat a stretch or exaggeration?

THE WORLD’S FIRST WARP BUBBLE FINALLY CREATED?
Being fascinated by the OP article and paper, I did some more research...... https://bigthink.com/starts-with-a-bang/no-warp-bubble/ Ethan Siegel extract: So, what did this new “warp bubble” paper actually do? The article, thankfully, published in the open access (but often dubious) European Physical Journal C, is publicly available to anyone wishing to download it. (Link here.) Using micron-scale electrical conductors in a variety of shapes, including pillars, plates, spheres and other cavities, teams of researchers were able to generate electric potentials (or changes in voltage) of a few hundred microvolts, completely in line with what previous experiments and theoretical predictions both indicate. That’s what the DARPA-funded project was for, and that’s what the experimental research surrounding this idea accomplished: in a custom Casimir cavity. However, there’s an enormous difference between what teams working on Casimir cavities do experimentally and the numerical calculations performed in this paper. That’s right: This isn’t an experimental paper, but rather a theoretical paper, one with a suspiciously low number (zero) of theoretical physicists on it. The paper relies on the dynamic vacuum model — a model typically applicable to single atoms — to model the energy density throughout space that would be generated by this cavity. They then use another technique, worldline numerics, to assess how the vacuum changes in response to the custom Casimir cavity. And then it gets shady. “Where’s my warp bubble?” They didn’t make one. In fact, they didn’t calculate one, either. All they did was show that the three-dimensional energy density generated by this cavity displayed some qualitative correlations with the energy density field required by the Alcubierre drive. They don’t match in a quantitative sense; they were not generated experimentally, but only calculated numerically; and most importantly, they are restricted to microscopic scales and extremely low energy densities. There’s a lot of speculation and conjecture, and all of it is unproven. That isn’t to say this might not be an interesting idea that might someday pan out. But the most generous thing I can say about it is this: it isn’t fully baked. The most worrisome part, as a scientist familiar with Dr. White’s grandiose claims surrounding physics-violating engines in the past, is that he’s making new grand claims without adequate supporting evidence. He’s going to be looking at tiny, low-power systems and attempting to make measurements right at the limit of what his equipment will be able to detect. And, in the very recent past, he has fooled himself (and many others) into believing a novel effect was present when, in fact, it was not. An error, where his team failed to account for the magnetic and electric fields generated by the wires powering his previous apparatus, was all he wound up measuring. and this also struck me........................ "It may be possible, with the proper configuration, to use the Casimir effect in a controlled fashion to substitute for Alcubierre’s original idea of exotic matter that possessed some type of negative energy. However, one must be careful — as stated earlier, it’s easy to fool yourself. The Casimir effect isn’t equivalent to a warp bubble. But in principle, it could be used to warp space in the negative fashion that would be needed to create one". ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Possible origins of the "aliens" in UFOs or UAPs... Or simply "no Aliens invloved", just some unknown, unidendtified phenomena/atmospheric aberration/trickery of light/mirage/mistaken identity/prank.
