Way to miss the point. 🙄 You argue that recreation level sport is fine, and my question is, why does the word elite change the argument?

It's difficult to understand what difference the word 'elite' has on the argument; can you clarify please? And the only way to do that, is to let them play and 'then' analyse the results; banning them first is just putting the cart before the horse...

For me this is similar to the miner's strike in 80's UK, in that the bosses don't need to produce coal anymore; they have already lost IMHO. This, for me, is just the first skirmish in the on coming war for the jobs that an AI can't do, on a 24/7 shift basis... A definiton is also arbitrary, as are the rules of the game; I don't know what the problem is, nobody's suggesting that we let a twelve yo girl take on a professional heavy weight male in a boxing ring. Just let the people who think their female enough to have surgery, play with other females in the appropriate category; it's not going to destroy the sport if the occasional trans person wins a game, jeez; it's not like the floodgates will open, for all the cheating 'men' who will pretend to be trans by sticking their tackle between the leg's. But if it does then employ a border force sargeant to do the strip searches, problem solved...

And in that example the outliers are 1 in 10ish, in trans athletes it's 1 in 10,000ish by the number of athletic sport's. It's a huge stretch to imagine the demise of an entire sport just because the "wrong" person won, in fact it's ludicrous.

It's the same argument every year on "Strictly come dancing", he/she is going to win and they're a truely shit dancer, how is that fair to the dancers with a bit of talent. Well then they're wrong, because these people are women.

Elite sport's is essentially a beauty contest, it will shuffle itself, from miss/mr Stroud all the way to mr/miss World. My brother was entered into a miss Stroud contest (true story), he didn't win he came 3rd, I think it was honorary. 🤒 Every man/woman/person made rule is arbitrary and sport is nothing more than entertainment... I can understand why a woman (I can't understand why we're fixated on the female side of the argument, it goes both ways) elite athlete is complaining, because HER pay day is threatened; I can't understand why a @J.C.MacSwell is complaining, what's the threat to you?
