How atheists often misunderstand and misuse the theory of evolution
Yes, but he entirely missed the point, eugenics is not something we can control bc the enviroment changes in a future we have no idea about, no god need be involved, so whatever ism you choose, it has no bearing on the reality in front of you... 🙄

Violence committed by God as opposed to violence committed by nature
Is a virus evil for causing a cold? If God's exist, it would be irrational to assume that they work for you, given the success of the virus... 😉

Proportionality of military actions
Not really, "when we can clearly see who took my vision.", it would be foolish to offer the other eye, and I'd be entirely justified, even as a pacifist, in plucking one of theirs in order to profide context and consequences. Indeed, it's always easier when we can clearly see, who the actual bully is. It's not democracy that's the road block to ethics, it's capitalism and the accountant, they own the system.

Proportionality of military actions
The ethical argument is very different to the moral one: The moral argument is "an eye for an eye", which is justice when we can clearly see who took my vision. The ethical argument is "how do you know who took what, with only one eye?". Proportionality lies somewhere in between and I don't think the military is best placed to judge...

Exploding Pagers Injure Hundreds in Lebanon
No, it sound's like you're refusing to acknowledge that bullies are created not born, they all live in basically the same place where the boarders is an arbitrary measure; they don't even have the excuse that they're living on an island and have evolved slightly differently. Everyone has condemned Hitler for the bully he was, isn't it time Israel stopped citing him as the reason to be the bigger innocent???

Exploding Pagers Injure Hundreds in Lebanon
There's a lot of nuance involved, but I feel sure I'm happier than they are; I'm reminded of a story I heard about Stalin, who litterally hid in his stateroom convinced his failure would be found out. A bully has no choice but to double down, on what they know to be false...

Ethics of pornography and sexually-suggestive content
I'm not seeing the difference; art is personal, full stop, it's a pretend vision of reality. The buyer of porn just wants to enjoy that version of reality, without people knowing he's bought it bc he doesn't want people to judge him. The buyer of art, especially the expensive kind, tends to want people to judge them. Both maybe missing something in life, but only one is judge as being sorded; it reminds me of the difference in alcohol consumption, poor people just buy the strongest available and run the gauntlet of judgement on their way home, while the rich people can pretend to appreciate the subtle difference's in quality and flavour, in full view of the plebs...

Bullies are always stupid, they think that force and threats will get what they want; they're just children really, they just want to be safe. Even Hitler wasn't born evil and it doesn't take a genius to extrapolate that to all humans even the one's labelled Hamas, " a rose by any other name would smell as sweet"...

Ethics of pornography and sexually-suggestive content
Indeed, context is everything in how we imbibe information correctly, so if not the parent, then the next in line to be their ward, ultimately the village/state; porn should be a genuine teaching opportunity, at any age.

The Dawkins delusion...
Well I'm trying to defend my premise, I don't give a rats arse that that statement is litterally wrong. I'd make far more sense if we were actually conversing, bc my typing speed is to slow to keep up with my mouth and when the flow is interupted the eddie's cause havoc, which circles back to my premise; I'm better than them bc their not clever like me...

The Dawkins delusion...
What I said was a text based version of what I meant, which you have chosen to take literally in order to attack my premise; congratulations, you are officially smarter than me, in the written word of the English language...

What would be a more preferable form of government than a "democracy"?
Why? Edit. Democracy runs into problems when those doing the deciding, affects those who are allowed to decide. It doesn't matter, The Wisdom of Crowds - Wikipedia

The Dawkins delusion...
It doesn't matter that's the point, god is used by Dawkins et al, as a legitimate target to discredit a perfectly reasonable, spiritual, approach to life and learning. Replacing "I don't know" with "god" is a personal, reasonable, choice; and since we can't prove it either way, it's somewhat moot. And since a very large proportion of religious folk aren't babbling idiots that think the earth is flat (do they have a god?).

What would be a more preferable form of government than a "democracy"?
Close, but the restriction is 18+, a 5 yo is capable of making a choice and a mark, that's a lot of people who should be making a contribution. While at the other end of the scale 80+ people, have much less skin in the game, and it could be argued are less capable. It was a child that pointed out that the king's naked...

What would be a more preferable form of government than a "democracy"?
We haven't tried democracy yet, we keep excluding people from voting both directly and passively. Give 'everyone' (regardless of age and capacity) a pen, put a ballot before them and ask them to choose, then we'll find out, after a century or so...

The Dawkins delusion...
"there's a theory, that if anyone finds out why the universe is here and what it's for, it will instantly be replaced by something even more inexplicably bizarre; there is a second theory that this has already happened" - Douglass Adams. I'm not saying anyone is wrong and I'm not committing scientific heresy by suggesting that there are other ways of thinking about our world that science can't really address. I'm assuming that god doesn't exist, consistently throughout my history here, but not everyone is doing science and they're not automatically wrong bc of that; flat earther's and there bredrin are clearly wrong, but Thomas Aquinas was clearly a scientific minded theologian who wrote many paper's and treatise right up until he had his spiritual enlightenment and abruptly stopped.

Bulletproof Airplanes
Thanks for trying, but far enough to appear stupid in this context, a bullet is all about point loading and penetration. However the Nazi's had a similar thought with there air cannon, I'll bet they felt stupid with there oversized whoopi cushion...

The Dawkins delusion...
The point of the topic is, when we don't know the answer there is no 'right' way to think, until we do know the answer; incomplete answers may not apply. No, and "we don't yet completely know" is not equivalent to "we will have knowledge of"...
