Who will be the first to go?
Isn't it strange that we all see 'the on coming storm', but no logic can explain why we believe...

I created a religion today
Bolded mine. I see, you want "A Brave New World" but you don't understand why it's bad... 😉

no free will = no reason to feel guilty
Logic dictates that the conclusion follows the premise, in this case we need to establish the difference between a reason and an excuse. A 'reason' for an action is logical bc the conclusion naturally follows the premise; for instance, the reason I walked to the petrol station, is bc I ran out of petrol. An 'excuse' for an action may not be logical bc the premise is probably false; for instance, the reason I walked to the petrol station , is bc I want to seem virtuous.

On the world-wide trend of anti-establishment voting.
Why? Let me guess, bc you read the daily mail and they told you not to...

Who will be the first to go?
nope... it's more a bet of foundations.

On the world-wide trend of anti-establishment voting.
Did you?

Who will be the first to go?
Ok, so two MEAGA's, one dark and one light aren't going to fall out, got it. On that very tentative premise, if we can get back to the topic question; who, from Trump's initial choice's will be absent by the midterms?

The pendulum will always swing to it's natural end, before the revolution begins again. If anything, I think the AI-fication of our society would speed up the change of direction; again I'm reminded of Assimov's 'Hari Seldon's' psychohistory and it's inherent faults.

no free will = no reason to feel guilty
You're missing my original point about Pascal's wager; there's no reason to believe in god or free will, but it's a good excuse to forgive yourself for all of your yesterdays/mistakes and enjoy today and possibly tomorrow too. That's why forgiveness of the self, is key, in understanding what the wager implies...

Who will be the first to go?
I have no doubt, but can we please just go with the spirit of the question; bc I was just wondering... I guess I deserved that neg, for some reason...

Who will be the first to go?
I said "pedantry apart", but OK, I amend my topic title too, who will he fire first???
-
Who will be the first to go?
Oh come on, pedantry apart, you know exactly what I mean...

Who will be the first to go?
Given Trump's history I think it's a nailed on certainty that his cabinet will be different by the midterms. My bet would be Musk, in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if they fall out before the inauguration. Who are the other runner's?

What does it mean for the US now? Like what does second term of Trump mean for the US now?
Common sense, the go to narrative of the ill informed and Trump's field of dream's. Trump doesn't care what 'ism type he is, so common sense would suggest, "get the fuck out of Dodge"; you seem to be out of your depth, so grab something that floats...😉

Cuban Missile Crisis Hypothetical
The problem is, Hitler would have pressed the button, before he shot himself... Putin would be no different (in that he can't lose) if he's backed into a corner, but he can be persuaded to back down, if he can remain a Judo grandmaster...

Cuban Missile Crisis Hypothetical
Did you you miss the post about sabre rattling and how it's a sign of weakness? (I can't remember who posted it) If Putin was confident, he would have used that speech, after his retaliation. Feel free to use your critical thinking, to argue my point...

Why Biden doesn't broadcast nuclear threats for Russians and for China?
Most people only have one personality, that they're conscious of... 😉

I created a religion today
All the major religion's have a philosophy, that if you follow can lead to contentment. They spent a lot of effort to teach other's what that philosophy is, mostly via stories and analogous explanation's. All you've done is, give them the finger for trying to explain a complicated issue, bc you don't want to understand; that's not a very strong philosophy/argument.

no free will = no reason to feel guilty
i see it this way: external factors > your brain > act/think So i get what you mean, think/mind listening = listen to external factors I would say your mind/brain orders/filters external factors, depending on other external factors That doesn't argue my point, your logic is flawed.

Resistance
Indeed they do, how else does fascism rise? It's not out of kindness or acceptance or forgiveness. It's like every revolution, when one recognises the threat it's much too late to stop it...
-
no free will = no reason to feel guilty
But logically, if you don't have free will your mind and heart is controlled by external factor's, so it's not your mind that you're listening to. I could, but I had a feeling they weren't trying to understand, so what's the point; I'm always happy to explain if there's a genuine attempt to understand.
