  1. It’s the poo you make after eating ghost chilis 🌶️ 💩 😈
  2. A brain death event within us mostly hairless apes, a lack of cortical oxygen leading to the sensation of dissociative consciousness, is not the same thing as "no time" or "time doesn't exist." Time is just another word for length. Length clearly exists as a formal context of study, even though you cannot touch or smell it. Your philosophical position here is self-evidently absurd to the point of laughable.
  3. Nobody need care about your opinion since it's so clearly unblemished by enlightenment or understanding.
  4. People supporting Trump just need to direct all funding to Kennedy (and/or Jill Stein and/or Cornell West). Much higher ROI than giving Trump more money for lawyer fees and gold sneakers. Every vote those also-rans siphon off at the polls is another dagger reducing Bidens chances of helping us avoid the arrival of a fascist self-serving Justice department weaponizing grievance machine that pushes the global balance of power even more toward the violent autocrats.
  5. See, now you’ve gone and tainted it. Scrotum
  6. It’s often said that lazy people make the best engineers as they look for simpler quicker solutions
  7. I thought it was clever. Didn’t think anyone would explode over it
  8. Would it help if I flipped you off?
  9. Released today: https://neurosciencenews.com/neurodiversity-strength-25818/
  10. Property rights are the root of wealth transfer across generations and our selfish genes practically demand it
  11. If it requires ironing then IMO it actually requires dry cleaning
  12. I didn’t realize things could get tensor here
  13. Those things aren’t mutually exclusive
  14. It’s already turning fascist. We’re waiting to see if those who aren’t get off their asses and do something about it
  15. That red box suggests the answer was no. Ok. I never suggested your argument was wrong bc you seem anxiety ridden or obsessive about marginal risks. I asked a question.
  16. Subtle Euclidean geometry humor is all that was intended ✌️
  17. If you mean the rules about doing anything at all and whatever it takes to “win,” then no. What will change is Putin using his recently rigged election like a trophy while simultaneously aligning with powers which are rapidly becoming hegemonies (I’m also unconvinced these recent terrorist events within country weren’t just Reichstag fire type events designed to further consolidate power and make more fierce and forceful crackdowns on dissenters more palatable. And the US election is sure to swing the pendulum of the world one way or the other in a short few months. Yes. You were much more concise, and IMO correct.
  18. Wait, why? What happened 5 minutes ago?!? If it makes you feel better, I (and I trust an appreciable number of SFNers) caught the reference
  19. You do have a point there
  20. Alfred - Would it be okay if I suggested that perhaps for you anxiety is a bigger challenge than any of the marginal side effects vaccines and antibiotics may sometimes bring ever will be?
  21. Your last several responses have been excellent and I agree with most of this last one too, but might pushback slightly on this final bit I’ve quoted since we see so much involvement from the spine and nervous system more broadly, plus the gut biome, for example. While Luc is a bit too extreme on the panpsychism front IMO, I do think limiting ourselves to just the brain when exploring this topic is also a bit too conservative and restrictive to provide us all with a full and accurate picture. Either way, thanks for the contributions and clarity they’ve added. It’s been much needed and appreciated. ✌️
  22. IF this is true, then two things come to mind: 1) It will dilute the dyes in the fabric and thus cause the colors to fade / become more muddy / less bright and not as saturated and clear. 2) Hydrogen is corrosive (at least it is with metals) and water molecules have two hydrogens so it might weaken and fray the fabric if submerged for extended periods of time. I defer to our respected chemist members though
  23. Sufficiently advanced technology indistinguishable from magic
