The insurance companies are pulling your movement patterns from your car. These profiles often understand us better than we understand ourselves (see also: TikTok). Basically, the toothpaste is already out of the tube and it isn’t gonna get put back in due to a different brand tv purchase.

And nothing bad will happen to those who perpetrated it. Zero consequence leads to more of same in future.

Nothing is certain. Costs come down. Fossil fuels bring additional costs borne out by everyone. Renewable energy is absolutely a key piece of the puzzle. As are batteries. We need a way to more easily capture, transport, and store that energy. But what did you want to discuss exactly? Your OP reads like a bot with confused parameters.

More likely IMO is he sees how slow the pace of the hardware production has become, how shortages are everywhere unable to scale with massive and still accelerating demand, and he wishes to get key players thinking in a fundamentally bigger way and to act to meet the need as he defines it.
