Hi Is there any explicit sexual footage of couples having sex, using infrared, ultrasound or x-ray imagery? Or any good documentaries that show the body reaction to sexual encounters? Help would be appreciated.

Can plants remove the agricultural pesticide inside their bodies themselves? An advertisement on the TV said that letting the plant away from the pesticide for 30 days can ensure not too much pesticides are left inside their bodies. I don't think so, as plants excretes so little and they don't have any toxin-breaking organ, do they?

We can obtain Vitamin A from many kinds of food, such as liver, green vegetables. It helps form purple visual pigment of the rod cells of our retina and prevent us from suffering from night blindness. If we lack vitamin A, does it lead to blindness?

It's a genuine phenomenon that everyone on the planet observes regularily. One person yawns, and then another person(s) immediately yawns thereafter. It happens over the phone as well. Is there a scientific explantaion for this?

I was wondering. In our contries where we dont have outbreaks of such Tropical diseases, e.g. Ebola etc. is this because there is NO viruses or like literally one or two, not nearlly enough to cause infection (prosumabley it takes a few million). If you were able to see an individual virus (deadly tropical) how many would you see in a normal day?

This is pretty simple questions but I can't think of a word to describe it. 1. What appears on the underside of fronds as a brown spot; a clump of sporangia. I'm guessing it's sori but is word "sori" singular or plural? Or am I off the track? 2. A new born baby, literally. ? I have no idea on this. It's 7 word and I so far got: n _ _ n _ t _. But not sure what to put between them.

  9. This past weekend I was blessed with the experience of a sinus infection. I've had numerous sinus infections before, but this one is a bit strange. Typically, I get the sinus congestion, sore throat, sneezing, runny nose, and expulsion of green mucus. This time, I got all of that which eventually went away, but now a cough is forming. Over the past couple of days, the sinus problems have gone away but now I keep hacking up this green-yellow mucus when I cough. It looks as if the infection has moved from my sinuses to my lungs. Why is this? I haven't done anything differently with this sinus infection, but it seems to have migrated on me. How come some infections d…

Yesterday my brother was asking about what an organism is as he started to learn about microorganisms in school. He kept thinking an organism had to be tiny e.g microbes, so instead of describing humans as organisms i said macroorgansims. Just wondered if a macroorganisms is a real word or just me mixing words about? Thanks.

There are a couple of things that annoy me about the human body, and if i could i would change them; 1.Urine. Cant we just sweat it out, i mean im fed up of going to the toilet. Excess Ions should all (along with excess water) be sweated out in my opinion. 2.Armpit Sweat. Why do we need sweat glands there? Its not like it evaporates or out?! and smells.

Hi, Haven't posted here in a while ... hope all is well! I've been considering various arguments in favour of a plant-based diet recently. Not being particularly competent in the field of biology however, I don't fully understand some of the health-related arguments - from either side! To be honest, the more I think about it, the more a plant-based diet does seem like the healthy option to me. And to cut to the chase, I was wondering if the 'generalisation' that: The more complex an organism is, the more likely it is to be a host for other organisms, such as malignant bacteria and parasites is true, in your opinions. In other words, aren't animals, in general, more …

Just a few questions I'm having difficulty finding the answer to. I hope the resident experts can help me out. When cells divide, do both cells contain equal amounts of matter, do they weigh the same and do they each take up the same volume? Does a cell have to double its weight before dividing? The answer sounds obvious, exact replication, but is it?

hello all i'm new to this forum.. first post... anyway the reason i did join up here other than curiosity is because i have a major question that needs answering... i'm in 10th grade and i have an upcoming science fair.. i was thinking of doing a biology project when it hit me... is it possible to use radioactive elements as a catalyst for the decomposition of garbage? since one of the properties of radioactive isotopes is that they destroy living tissues, therefore they may be used to increase the rate of garbage decomposing. or whatever the right term is... i know you cant use this on all types of garbage... but you probably can on the ones that are made…

Hi, I am studying cells and was curious to know if all human cells are known. Is there a place with a list of all the differents type of human cells? Also, does each organism have its own types of cells? I mean, is a cows red blood cells the same as ours? And would a pig have a cell that a person doesn't? Or are they all similar? Thanks for any info

Is their an average as to the average percentage of a lizard's weight is bone? Boy, that's an awkward sentence ... anyway, something like a Komodo Dragon, or an alligator (I know, not a lizard, duh ) would help. Mokele, my hopes are resting with you, Buddy!!
