Computer Science

  1. Hi i am undergraduate student in Computer science and i was thinking about postgraduate education in Artificial intelligence mainly or Computer security. Does it worth in your opinion? I am willing to read alone about technologies since i am programming since i was 14 years old using courses from the web so there is no problem in understanding things from courses. Generally im good in learning using google / internet and sometimes i perform better by using internet sources. I think the postgraduate im thinking about attending is named Master, MSc etc. What's your opinion?

Maaaany years ago, I encountered a sort of incomplete domain on the net. Today, I saw a similar situation of a domain (.co) behaving like a monopoly. What are they doing, why, is it legal ? Check this search results, multiple addresses or sites directing to same subscription request. ----> https://www.google.com/search?q=intek+v+twin+wiring+schematic&client=ubuntu&hs=MDq&channel=fs&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjQ_sfVloLeAhVQwlkKHbaHC-wQ_AUIDygC&biw=1366&bih=549 Choose images if not images; at least the different ".co" shown behave the same. What is going on ?

We're told to use strong passwords, yada, yada... It must be true, since hackers successfully get past the password walls all the time. My question is how! Sites ask for our passwords to get in, we supply them, and the site spends "some" time evaluating them for accuracy. If inaccurate, the site asks again, or gives us a few more tries, which takes even more time. Seems to me that using brute force to get a correct password would take days (or more) of trying to get in, considering the time sites evaluate those incoming passwords. Even using automated software to guess moderately strong passwords must take a LOT of time due to the site's time to evaluate them. W…

Hi there, I have watched a few YouTube videos on P vs NP. I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I have a quick question. I was wondering whether to prove P=NP then does the program have to be the exactly the same speed to find a solution to an NPC as to check a solution to an NPC, or can it be slower, still done in polynomial time, but a lot slower. For example if it takes a few nested loops vs 1 nested loop, but the number of nested loops is not related to the problem size, just to the method of solving the problem? Thanks! Paul

I'm making a script using AutoHotkey programming language but I want to expand its abilities by calling different types of .DLL functions. The problem is that other than most of the known windows standard .DLLs I cannot be aware of any other .DLL list of functions and their input demands. Is there any website that can provide me with information about what I'm looking for? PS. Please avoid suggesting me to try use the "dumpbin.exe /export .." command on the visual studio command prompt - doesn't work for me for some reason - plus It's best to know first what suits me for the job before downloading it. Thank you.

  11. Hallo, Maybe can someone please help me here; I've been reading that there is no general Turing Machine (TM) for specifying whether or not a given TM will end its calculation. One could prove this claim by applying Cantor's diagonal argument to a plot exhibiting the output of all possible TMs when applied an infinite set of inputs. See Penrose 1989 The Emperor's New Mind, chapter: the insolubility of Hilbert's Problem; or https://www.decodedscience.org/turing-machines-and-the-halting-problem/12672/3 The proof implies a hypothetic foolproof TM termed H (TMH), that indeed always gives a computable output to the question of whethe…

Hey, ok so I am working on a new project and I was wondering how would I go about connecting 2 servers together. Like each server is it's own independent file/document server and the 2 servers can connect to one another via some link. The reason that I would be having 2 separate servers instead of just a single server and connecting 2 devices to it is that I want the person using the server to have absolute control of there documents and files all while allowing for each server to copy information from each other. Also if one server were to die or be destroyed then another server would just have everything backed up on it. Maybe it would be better if I explaine…
