Can you really get "weed addicted" ? And if so, is it possible to get addicted from eating weed brownies or cannabutter bakery products ? I was wondering if there is any certified information on this topic. Also info on any weed related disorders would be valuable.

Dear all, I’m currently learning an antioxidant assay called ABTS scavenging capacity. I’ve got several questions intend to ask, as follows: 1) How many days does the ABTS stock solution (2.45 mM potassium persulfate and 7 mM ABTS salt solution in a ratio of 1:1 v/v) can stable for? How can I identify whether it’s degraded based on its color and etc.? 2) How many days does the diluted ABTS working solution (diluted with MeOH to obtain abs. 0.700±0.02) can stable for? How can I identify whether it’s degraded based on its color and etc.? According to Re et al. (1999), the diluted ABTS working solution can be stabled for more than 2 days. 3) Is it the range o…

For some reason my toenails are brittle and scratch easy for lack of medical terminology. That means when I cut my toenails I have to be very very very careful not to scratch my toenail. When having a shower and coming out of the shower it starts to peel by the base or edges and takes a long time to heel and some times does not heel and I just have to live with it for new toenail to grow . And if I touch it or bump it not hard it scratches easy and peels easy. You have to treat your toenails as if it is a glass ornament. It slow to heel and very sensitive to water or touch.About 6 months ago I bumped one of my toenails very hard and it was black ,blue and bru…

Hello Experts, I am 38 years old man with 68 Kilo, 169 cm height. As per BMI index calculator in internet, my BMI index and weight is correct for my height. However, even though, I am not overweight, I have considerable belly and almost flat butt. This is becoming a topic of my social frustration. Needless to say, when I do bit more workout, I reduce my weight and then start leg aching, back aching and other problems. I am occasional beer drinker and do not overeat. I am working in software, hence sit for long hours at one place. This might be reason for belly. I occasionally swim and cycle. However, in some minutes, I get breathless or near to feeling …

Here is the link for more information about this treatment by medical doctor and Ph.D biochemist Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski: https://www.burzynskimovie.com/ I watched some of the movie clips and trailers for the movie and listened to part of the interview. This is not the first example I've heard where the FDA have suppressed a new/ alternative treatment for a disease/ disorder. It seems that medicine and cancer treatment is more about making money than helping people and saving lives. I find it sad that today's world is governed by people who just care about money and power. Here is another example of FDAs suppression: This is an excerpt from a book I have (Natura…

This is kind of a hypothetical question, so don't read anything into this about my actual life style: I'm just wondering if it makes sense to talk about being overweight yet healthy at the same time. I'm thinking particularly about snacking on health foods - fruits, whole grain breads, low-fat dairy products (milk, yogurt, I don't know about cheese), low-fat meats (particularly fish), etc. If one was always hungry and always wanted to snack, could he/she maintain his/her health by snacking on healthy foods such as these? Let's add a bit of exercise in there since I know exercise is essential for any healthy lifestyle, plus good quality sleep, abstaining from drugs and…

If anyone can comment on my video Click Here The video shows my Live Blood under Phase contrast 2000x Oil Immersion. I am new at this, but very sick with Neuro Lyme disease and Babesiosis. I have a Dr. Friend who owns a lab telling me this is Bacteremia and another Dr. who is a Pathologist is telling me this is Brownian Motion. I'm really confused, but I do know that my Lyme titers are positive and that I do have Babesiosis (A RBC Parasite) similar to Malaria and treated the same, only we don't get the crazy High Fevers that would kill you. Thank you to anyone who can comment on the video. The direct link is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=shfUEpQuVug …

If I wanted to give up caffeine and get my energy boost from more natural sources (fruits, vegetables, vitamins, etc.), what would you suggest? I understand it would be extremely difficult to get the same kind of boost from natural non-caffinated substances, but I don't need the same kind of boost (quality and quantity), just something so that I'm not dragging my ass around all day. Any suggestions?

I am 29 years old fit and healthy male. I eat properly (of course a candy bar or two every once in a while) I do not drink but 3 drinks a week and I exercise several times a week. Recently however I have had problems with my stomach. If I do not keep food in my stomach every couple hours my stomach starts to hurt so bad it makes my saliva count increase to the point of hurling. It hurts very very very very bad. Also sometimes in the middle of the day if I drink bottled or filtered tap water I get the same stomach ache then I eat even a single chip and it will go away. It feels as if my stomach acids have doubledi n size and are pissed off and trying to get out. Also my "S…

Last month, I visited my cousin so that I could accompany him thru his treatment in Englewoods Physical Therapy. He was told by the therapist that he must face the pain and used to it. "Your mind is the most powerful element for your fast recovery", as he said. He further said that he must face his fear and conquer it. I thought in that moment that his advise is pretty good. But is it really mind drives as all?

A lot of so called Top Dogs and Take It or Leave Its have sparing body movements, which means they do not move a lot and do only the most necessary movements. If you're jittery you're not seen as a top dog, which does not mean that you can't be one, but people just naturally do not consider jittery people as top dogs, rather as creative people or even immature. I'm wondering where does this derive from? I can imagine that even back then the leaders in a tribe were the focused people with sparing body movements, perhaps that is what such body language displays to the outside, a sharp and focused mind? Which means that people naturally would want such a guy as their lea…

Inquiring minds want to know, a fatal dose of what drugs will it take for the express purpose of causing the immediate death of the subject? I want to know the drugs that will cause the easiest death, rather than other methods which are considered to be more painful. I know the subject could be applied in a broad sense to suicide, but I'm just curious, I do not have the intention of killing myself.

Mad cow disease (also known as Bovine spongiform encephalopathy [bSE]) is a neurodegenerative, fatal affliction of cows. It’s caused by prions, which are proteins that are normally present in cows, but they have been mis-folded. Think of a paper clip as a prion, and its unwound form as a straight strip of metal is the original protein. The mishapen prions can also induce other normal proteins around them to become prions. Prions are not alive – they are errant proteins produced in an animal, much like cancer cells are regular human cells gone wrong. http://www.interestingscience.net/madcow/ Seems like mad cow is going to stay for a while
