What does your desktop look like??

Featured Replies

how does one post pictures in here?

If the picture is already online, you can simply enclose it in IMG tags, like this:

(IMG)http://www.mywebsite.com/images/myimage.jpg(/IMG)

Except that you would use square brackets instead of parentheses. (Don't click the link above; it doesn't go anywhere.)

If the image is not currently online, I think you're stuck because I don't believe we allow image uploading to the server here.

how can i get it online to put onto here, or any other forum?

You do. When writing a post, click to "go advanced", then "manage attachments" und "additional options". In the new window, you can upload files.

@mamakosj: But I think you shouldn´t use the SFN webspace for non-SFN use.

thanks for that... very useful, your statement is.

Well i don't know how to post images on the board so i describe it in words. The icons are the programs i use frequently. My background picture is a image of the beautiful vast Carina nebula, which also is a massive stellar nursery.

A sight for sore eyes, it's this picture of the carina nebula i currently have as desktop pic:

Take a screenshot. There should be a PrtSc button which will copy your screen. Just paste it into an image program(MSpaint will work) and save it. Upload it to a site like photobucket. Once it is uploaded, view it and copy the web address.

On this forum, we use image tags. Photobucket will have the address already in image tags if you choose to go that way. If not, you can take the address you copied and type the tags yourself. It goes like this:

address of the picture

The link you provided would render like this.

Doing a revive of this thread.

Minimalistic yet flashy desktops are where it's at =)

Just took a shot. You can clearly see how "game-addicted" am I:embarass:

The fact that my favorite game logo occupies your desktop more than makes up for the painful un-organization of it [desktop].
