Myspace - Who uses it?

Featured Replies

I'm just curious how many of you scientists in here uses myspace :D

If yes, post the link in here.

Dunno what myspace is but it sounds like a webspace provider. I´d assume most scientists use the webspace provided by their institution (university, research facility).

It's more of an online journal/blog entry site. I don't have one though.

Here's mine...mp3's don't do music justice IMO, but hey if anyone wants a listen your welcome...

For music myspace is ok...being free and everything, but I'm not a great fan either...and yes, I have more than 3 friends !

Like the internet pic Bascule, very nice

Everyone tries me to get a myspace, because I thought I was the last one left. I'm so glad Atheist didn't have an account either. I refuse to get one because I'm already surrounded by losers and my life has already been ruined.

I do. But i think we'd be pushing the boat out a little to far for me to describe myself as a scientist. I mainly use it for the bands/ to quench my insecurities regarding who does and does not like me.

A true optimist, you are.

Glad to say that while I did get one, I have never used it, and it's most likely rotting away into disrepair.

I agree yourdad... don't have one, don't neeed one so aint gonna get one!

Crikey...I just wanted to put my music on the net for free, although it's advertising, I never saw it as 'desperate', more convenient. A friend told me about it a few months ago, so I thought I'd stick a few tunes on there...I never realised it had such a reputation.

As for me, I'm one trendy motherf*cker...

I still hate MySpace in all its craptastic ColdFusion stupidity

I enjoy the groups sections... even nerds can have fun on Myspace, as can be seen by some of the groups I belong to... "Dungeons and Dragons" and "nerds unite" being 2 of them.

Well, Mr. Twinblade, I do not use myspace, I despise the fad.

However I could be convinced into getting one just for the fellow nerd interests, however, being the fad that it is, I would need a huge amount of convincing.

there are a lot of nerd groups there... from gaming to science and everything in between.

Ecoli, will you post the link for your myspace? I'm curious to check it out, in a non-stalker kind of way. If I missed it before, sorry.

i had it before and after it was a fad.

So you're like the blog-fad originator/moderator of sorts.;)
