Richard Terrile claims that smallest microscobic organisms are pixelated and that shows that the universe is a simulation. Is that an accurate claim?

Without a reference to the source, it is impossible to say.

But as no one else has spotted this (and we have looked at things much smaller than microscopic organisms) I would assume not.

That's a 20 minute video. Can you be more specific about when he made the claim?

There is not a scientific article about this claim. You can google the claim.

So he's basing this on time, energy, space, volume having a finite size (which is conjecture) and also time travel.

Although I did, that's not how this works. You started a thread, meaning you have an obligation to present relevant information. All I asked for was a time in a 20 minute video for when he discusses this. I don't owe you the effort of watching a 20 minute video.

No. All attempts to test this have been consistent with space being continuous.

And even if there were, it doesn't really lend any credence to his idea.

Pixelation is an interesting turn of phrase. Pixelation is an observed effect and refers specifically to a visual observation. What may be referred to as pixelation visually, may simply be the visual deconstruction of something that was observed previously to be solid into smaller, though no less 'real,' parts.

Pop-science usually refers to simplified (and hence rather inaccurate) descriptions of science in the popular press.

This sounds like straightforward crackpottery.

Microscopic organisms are made of millions/billions of atoms/molecules..

If you want to see single electron or single alpha traces, search YouTube for "Cloud Chamber" (particle with high kinetic energy, while passing through medium, ionize it (causes secondary rays (delta rays), and then there are even tertiary rays (epsilon rays) caused by secondary rays)).. All this causes that traces are visible by naked human eye..

"pixelated" is wrong word. Quantized is more appropriate.

Pixel is used in 2D. 3 dimensional version of pixel is called voxel, by the way..

Even more impressive than that, you can find images of atoms and molecules where you can see the shape of electron orbitals which have the (smooth) shape predicted by theory.
