Is there any experiment that shows the universe is pixelated?

The reason why I am asking this is that I would like to touch people I love and them to me but science says you can not do it technically:( maybe there can be some information that refutes the lack of intimacy between people..

There is an attractive force before repelling force between atoms and contact happens when these forces reach an equilibrium. This is how two objects contact. I find this quite logical. Any comments?
