  1. Sure, it's a complex issue, but using a Bush doctrine to enlighten action, seems akin to using Trump as a justification for being drunk.
  2. Ahh, I see, you're not trying to parody conspiracy theories you're trying to justify them, that's not going to work out too well here.
  3. That's where critical thinking comes in handy, it reminds me of a recent ad campaign for shampoo, in which they basically said: "we're selling millions of bottles of this shampoo... you should buy a bottle to find out why".
  4. A foreign power seldom understands the political machinations of the country they seek to liberate, mostly because they only seek to liberate for the sake of their own political machinations.
  5. It's a different dynamic China uses NK as a buffer to its territory.
  6. I was projecting it psychically, where do you think you got the idea Despite all the rhetoric, I doubt Russia really wants to push it and they're the best bet to reign in Assad.
  7. Then I guess we're all psychic since no-one argued. Sorry, my mistake I had meant to quote tuco, but no chance to check (bedtimes are strick round here ).
  8. I'm not ignoring it, I acknowledged it, but my point is not about the type of media used or whether it was copied to the next type; my point is the future is unknown and there's no guarantee technology will be available to do the reading. Besides what about that all-important floppy that was worth hiding for safekeeping and is forgotten about for n years?
  9. There's a reason the world decided this type of warfare be banned.
  10. And my point is. It's naive to think tomorrow won't be different from today.
  11. Kinda defeats the object of contributing to a discussion, doesn't it? So here's my tuppence worth: When a bully just won't listen to reason or fair play you're obligated to at least aim for the balls whatever the consequences, because the alternative will always be worse.
  12. Or, when there's no intention of success.
  13. No better example of what words mean.
  14. I can't help but be a little amused by this answer, given our initial confrontation. Not saying you're wrong (wouldn't dare, given, your eloquence), but it is kinda funny.
  15. We don't need to understand, or have knowledge of evolution, for it to work.
  16. Society, culture and times change all the time, which is why understanding is lost and religions emerge. Just to add, keep the knowledge and forget what it means, is no different too, not accessing the information.
  17. 20 years ago everyone with a computer had one, today 99% of people with a computer doesn't, so that method of saving digital information didn't last long. That doesn't really mean too much if you can't access it.
  18. Have you got a working floppy disk drive?
  19. I've often pondered this, wondering if this event could have happened multiple times driving the continuing expansion. Edit, maybe that's for another thread.
