  1. Did you teach yourself any of this?
  2. The sentence speaks for itself. 🙄
  3. The only thing you haven't been taught, is what you teach yourself. 😉
  4. Yes, human destiny is defined by human history; "if we don't learn from the past, we're doomed to repeat it." Care to elaborate? Surely that's cultural? A wolf only hates a wolf when it's territory is threatened... When I was at school, we had one coloured student in my year; it never occurred to me that he was different...
  5. a dash of spice, is a future investment ... Who knew???
  6. No one is born a racist, but sometimes they're taught to hate... Colour has little to do with it...
  7. It's not a joke, value can change in a matter of moment's, depending on how thirsty you are...
  8. The average price of the coin, is roughly equivalent to it's value... What you don't get, is the value of the other two side's.
  9. Sorry guy's, had a visit from a mate with JD as a chaser; don't remember posting that. Indeed, one side claiming to be freedom fighter's and the other claiming to protect you from terrorists... At some point, a great person suggests forgiveness, when they realise the futility of banging one's head against a wall; it's never the wall that capitulates...
  10. It's how we go up and down
  11. Only in their mind, for instance; the ISS demanded a male and female part's, to integrate properly; neither party was willing to be a female; even though, more money and resources is needed, to prove otherwise; what's so wrong with a female perspective? It's like asking, why is mother wrong?
  12. If you don't understand, what's the point of knowledge?
  13. You're confusing an object for a concept. What is true for you, is true for me... For instance, if you think you're content; the chances are, you're content with that knowledge. Some people need a teacher to make sense of the world, and some people find out for themselves... Which is more valuable?
  14. Was that something Mohammed taught?
  15. I'm not suggesting money isn't valid. I'm suggesting that, the more people who have what they need to be content, the more people who see it's true value and thus reducing the need to protect the money they have; fraud only occurs when both parties think/feel they need more than they have. Of course there's no perfect system, some people will allways want more than they have/need; the problem we have is, those people are in charge, and doing everthing they can to make sure fraud is viable. I highly doubt Picasso painted because he knew how much money it would make now...
  16. I see little discount to the value of money, in this metric...
  17. A little more light on the subject, could provide an answer...
  18. Israel are a product of their history; doomed to repeat the mistakes, unless enlightened/see more... Tomorrow, it's Palestien's turn to try...
  19. Two rashers of bacon for one egg. Not when there is no actual need involved. How is that relevant to the topic?
  20. Who pays, is a very good question...
  21. Karma is a bitch, if you don't understand why... Context, helps...
  22. There is no utopia, but if most of us just relax a little and except the poor as unlucky gambler's, a better place is possible; for you, at least.
  23. I'm not trying to define money, we all know what it is, I'm trying to explore it's value; and why we tend to place that value as an absolute; rather than it's pupose, which is to make it easier to exchange a pig for some egg's. Not to exchange money for time; it's interesting how we view the practitioner's of this: The poor = gambler with a problem that adversely effect's society. The bank's = gambler with a problem that adversely effect's society. The former we pitty, the latter we praise. If, however, we assign an equal value to both; there is no problem, just two people enjoying what they do.
  24. Gold is no more valuable than paper, if what you need to buy is a loaf and there's none on the shelves.
