Harris is clearly making a play for paleo-Republicans and Independent voters. Trump, however, is making a play for voters who normally don't vote, specifically males with misogynistic and racist tendencies. I'm unsure (and uncomfortable) that the middle of the road never-Trumper numbers being sought after by Harris et.al will be enough to counterbalance the "let's burn the whole effing thing down" voters sought after by Trump et.al.
  3. Did it involve essential oils and investments in crypto currencies?
  4. Your dreams reflect your conscious brain trying to make sense of unconscious activity and striving to apply a narrative to that makes sense in context of the items you’re thinking about while awake. You’re obviously thinking of physics concepts and sci interfere that’s the frame under which your mind explains your dreams to yourself. Nothing to do with quantum theory tho
  5. Copy pasted newbie. No thx
  6. It's a half truth. Inflation from quantitative easing and "printing money" could lead to inflationary effects. It's just not the root cause of the inflation most people are bitching and moaning about right now. That was due to supply chain shocks globally at the same time that families received rapid unexpected injections of cash to prevent collapse of the system. This would potentially help with inflation since it would remove liquidity from the system (i.e. poor people stop spending money and the reduction in spending would lead to lowering of costs vendors and manufacturers charge), but a far superior weapon is increasing interest rates since it's not regressive and has the benefit of impacting everyone all at once.
  7. Social engineering efforts from allies and enemies alike are clearly in full swing
  8. That was already clear. Thank you. So, just to confirm, no answer to this question I asked? >> Which "laws of nature" specifically do you believe electric cars break or have the potential to break?
  9. Maybe, but so long as you're not willful and obstinate about it, most ignorance can be resolved with education and critical thinking. Subsidies and lobbying have played a fairly sizable role in this, too. Which "laws of nature" specifically do you believe electric cars break or have the potential to break?
  10. Uhuh. In 1900, 38% of the cars in the United States were electric, compared to 22% that were gasoline-powered
  11. And you’re welcome to believe any ridiculous ignorant thing you want. That is your right.

  13. This is a category error since humans ARE animals… but we’ve already covered this and you’ve already chosen to ignore it. Lather. Rinse. Repeat. Righty-oh. Got me there. Lol

Something basically nobody here cares about in any way whatsoever.
  16. You share many unfounded personal opinions as if they were indisputable facts. You should stop doing that. On another note, unsurprised you failed to name even one. Thanks for confirming you’re not here engaging in good faith.
  17. We don’t need to go “as far back as recorded human history.” Please name one human being who had the ability to “build supercomputers” before 1900. Just one. Go ahead. I’ll wait. If you cannot, then we have yet another example of you arguing in bad faith.
  18. We didn’t see humans doing it until this generation, either. Your positions here are laughable and childish.
  19. 12,000 troops and special operations teams are being transported from North Korea to Russia and after being given Russian uniforms and weapons will be sent to the front lines in Ukraine. CIA Director William Burns two weeks ago at a security conference said, “The North Koreans [are] supplying significant quantities of artillery munitions for Russia, desperately needed by the Russians on the battlefield. Short-range ballistic missiles as well. And of course the challenge is, this is a two-way street, because the North Koreans benefit as well from this.” In response, South Korea is actively working to send “lethal military aid” to Kyiv. https://www.newsweek.com/south-korea-news-could-follow-north-russia-ukraine-war-1972082
  20. Buoyancy floats mine. What do you use?

This was my first thought, as well. The sense of belonging to a community is more likely to be a protective factor than the religion itself. I'd like to see a study comparing religious affiliation alongside things like being a member of a book club, or sports franchise, or poker circle for example. Feeling socially connected has enormous benefits, lower suicide rates quite likely to be one of them.
  22. And you’d be wrong Common sense suggests we should focus on acceptance and health, exactly as I suggested. Yes, and that would be stupid to the point of useless.

My thoughts are you need to leave or pursue your agenda somewhere else because you’re super boring.
