  1. I heard you the first time, but you’ve yet to elaborate on where and how. Go ahead. I’ll wait. Cue the series of strawmen and strings of misunderstandings in Gish Gallop fashion.
  2. Reality doesn’t care about what we believe. Why would I assume a totally random stranger on the internet who shows a poor understanding of evolution has valid reasons for his doubt? Perhaps if instead of declaring your doubt you specified it’s source we could have a meaningful exchange. Sadly, you’re probably too afraid to be corrected and would rather continue existing in your ignorance because it’s easier and more comfortable.
  3. By example: Who designed the designer? It’s turtles all the way down. Also, evolution isn’t about creation. It’s about change, so here again the ID-iots misapply their assault since instead they mean to attack abiogenesis with their dull rhetorical blades. This isn’t directed at you btw… just riffing on the paucity of merit and intellect so consistently found in deniers of evolution, perhaps the single best supported scientific theory ever devised to explain and model the world we’re part of.
  4. Another example of a most stubborn, profound, and willful ignorance. http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/dinosaur/bird_and_frog_development.html And if not that above, then it’s even worse… the misguided belief that we should’ve evolved our pinky fingers away completely since we barely use them, thus leaving our hands with only 4 digits each.
  5. Evolution means change. There is no direction. Devolution is you again forcing a false label on to a natural process. With that said, it seems rather obvious to me that your mind is already made up and your mood recalcitrant and obstinate, that you’re not here to learn… and that’s a shame. Lots of intelligent, kind, high quality natural teachers here who are willing to assist in your own evolution of knowledge and understanding.
  6. I don’t have to. You’re the one trying to conflate natural mutations and resulting characteristics with “coding.”
  7. Nature and science don’t really give a shit about what’s easy or what’s hard for you personally as an individual to believe. Your incredulity doesn’t negate the facts
  8. Not precisely what you’re asking for, but maybe try this link instead as a marginal UX improvement: https://www.scienceforums.net/discover/15
  9. If you're suggesting that this is an option via forum software, then a quick description of steps to do so would be warranted. AFAIK, no such option exists. If instead you're advising that the OP should not even be asking this question bc they can choose to ignore it with their mind, then your post really isn't at all helpful, especially in context of the forum where this was posted (Suggestions, Comments, and Support for the platform).
  10. You are of course correct. I zigged when I should've zagged in my brain and accidently switched them when typing. Appreciate the correction.
  11. Cuz I’m so sweet and kind, obviously
  12. Ah. Sure. Profound, is a good description for the depth of my lack of caring. Carry on. Also, the logic here fails when one considers our bodies are made of smaller components, too Said another way, you seem to arbitrarily be choosing your scales to support a preconceived conclusion.
  13. Agreed. There is no “I” in Doubles
  14. Would you not first need to identify sizes across the total populations of other living organisms across (not just our solar system and galaxy but) the entire universe prior to making such an assertion? We’ve barely even done that here on earth alone. One can’t take a median without a dataset
  15. Perhaps relevant here to this thread, there is however an "I" in both Singles and Tennis
  16. We cannot assume it's never happened nor wouldn't (magma flowing into/through oil deposits) as that's entirely possible. It's just less likely, however, because magma tends to sit higher / closer to the crust than oil deposits which generally are much deeper. It's a bit like placing a rock at the bottom of our cup and asking why the marshmallow you set floating on top isn't interacting directly with that rock. It's not that it's impossible, just that it's unlikely.
  17. Russia has begun evacuating its people from their Ukrainian embassy
  18. My wife just stopped and said, ”You weren’t even listening were you?” I thought… “That’s a pretty weird way to start a conversation.”
  19. I don’t mean to brag or anything, but in the US our vaccination rate is all the way up to 63%, and in my current home state of Iowa we’re doing even better with 59% of the population fully vaxxed. I know you’re jealous though and hate us for our free-dumbs. I return you now to your tennis tournament travails.
  20. Having just left Afghanistan after 20 years and trillions spent to basically lose a war, the appetite for entering another conflagration in the US is low to nonexistent… even if we’re differently badged or dressed I guess keep wishing
  21. I’m sure they saw it previously, but they also saw their own political power waning if they did anything to make fuel more expensive in the present. Looks to me like Ukraine will be included as a part of / state within Russia by this same time next year. Hopefully I’m wrong
  22. Those are all fine ideas, but I reckon their impact will be more on conflicts in the 2030s than on those in the coming weeks
  23. It looks like a cyber attack also began 2 or 3 days ago where Russia deployed a massive destructive malware program across Ukrainian government systems focused on executive and emergency responses. It also hit a private IT company that manages sites for the gov. It allows the attackers to edit what is shown across these sites and even completely shutdown these systems from afar. Microsoft cyber security experts flagged it last night https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/microsoft-says-it-observed-destructive-malware-systems-belonging-several-ukraine-2022-01-16/
  24. Well, they did recently remake Westside Story 🤷‍♂️
  25. It sounds more like preaching than opening of a discussion. What do you wish to discuss, exactly? Two maybe. 😂
