Are any 2 electrons exactly equal in all possible mathematical sense ? Is this really conceivable and possible ? I find it hard to imagine 2 electrons that are exactly equal as if they were 2 exactly equal numbers. So electrons would end up being pure mathematical entities-abstractions. Many many galaxies away, far beyond the view of our modern telescopes, there is a small hole (for lack of a better word) and this continually spews out energy. Not much energy, in fact less than a joule a year. This energy comes from the larger multiverse that our universe habitates, in sort of the same way that a punctured ball takes in water when placed in a bucket. Is there anyway that we know this is not there? If not, then why are we so sure that the universe is a closed system?

I was just wondering if anyone has heard anything about bessie, the lake monster in Lake Erie. Do you think it exists? Why or why not? Personally, I don't see how a serpent that is 30 to 40 feet in length could get into Lake Erie. It would have had to come from the ocean, but the only way you can get to Lake Erie from the ocean is by going upstream, through a man-made river, and over many large waterfalls.
