I've been stuck on this little coding problem for a while, and I figured this would be a good place to find some help. I've got an access table that keeps track of inventory, pretty much has a product SKU and a UnitsInStock field. I want to create a form that will allow me to scan in new products with a scanner. Pretty much I need a text box that will have the scanner input values and then have it increment the UnitsInStock field for that particular SKU by 1. I haven't been able to get this to work yet!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, DimShadow7

Has anybody tried making one of these? I'm going to give it a try as soon as I get the cash to order the Scyld Linux CD off Linuxemporium and a few more network cards. I've got to admire the smarts of those NASA scientists for developing such a system under such circumstances.

I picked up the iSearch toolbar somehow, either in a Windows or an HP update and I never use it. Every time I open an Explorer window I have to get rid of it since it makes my screen that much smaller. I can't find a way to uninstall it. Any recommendations or advice? Does anybody use it/like it/hate it?

As what it is in that page, some people still think that Windows Xp sucks....but to me, I think Windows Xp has a really good performance rather than Linux... Linux is only good for free legal softwares...it is the cost that makes it advantageous, but due to my experience, Linspire works very slow compared to Xp....I was surprised by that, since it has an Unix kernel.... I think the reason why people hate Xp so much is because Microsoft has a monopoly on OS.. It is a disadvantage for the customers...but …

We've all seen the slump in the computing sector in the past few years, and yet there are still several sectors whoes IT demands have not been met fully. The best example of which is Life sciences. Although, many research and phramaceutical organisations utilise computing technologies for advanced research managment rather than just word processing and checking e-mails, more organisations are calling for more IT products for the life sciences. Most of the big names, including IBM, SGI and HP and many more, have already started focusing on the Life science sector and see it as a great opportunity for investment. What I find confusing is that Universities haven't pi…

  24. Hi, this is quite important to me -- I'm making a company site, and need to make some sort of administrator's console, in which - among other things - the admin adds News, users and so on. In teh "Add News" thing, I want to make the news "HTML" based, means that if there's <b>NEWS TITLE</b> it will appear bold on the news marquee. Obviously. the thing is that the Company's site admins (they're not really admins, they'll just use the admin CP i am making) don't ahve much of a clue in HTML, so I want to make some simple buttons like "B" and "I"... much like there are in this site (when writing a reply or a new thread) -- VERY simple one, not an entire e…

Problem 1: We want to increase the number of registers that we can specify in the LC-3 ADD instruction to 32. Do you see any problem with that? Explain. Problem 2: What is the difference between the following LC-3 instructions A and B? How are they similar? How are they different? (Hint: check page 232 in the textbook) A: 0000111101010101 B: 0100111101010101 Problem 3: The LC-3 does not have an opcode for the logical function OR. That is, there is no instruction in the LC-3 ISA that performs the OR operation. However, we can write a sequence of instructions to implement the OR operation. The four instruction sequence below performs the OR of the contents of …
