Hi

I'm new here.

I started with my theory about everything and created a model that match the known observations. I would like to follow some ideas and facts here to confirm my predictions. What is official, for me doesn't make any diference since I have slightly diferen explanation for it.

My theory explains the folowing;

Expansion of Universe

Origin of Gravity, Energy and mass

Black holes etc.

I don't expect anybody to folow me but would appreciate some understanding.

I'm Steve and am the amateurist amateur to Science, but I'm looking to start playing around with electricity and newer energy systems.

I have a BA in Liberal Arts so....ya know...there's that. But we did do quite a bit of history of math and science, so as long as no one has proven the flogiston theory incorrect then I'm good to go!

I'm Gibsheet, which for all you landlubbers is the name of the forward sail on a sail boat. It gives the boat it's drive and the ability to sail close to up wind, which in itself, is scientifically amazing. The same principle allows aircraft to get off the ground through lift. I have B.S. degrees in Maritime Administration and Environmental Policy.

Hi folks!

I'm currently an undergraduate student of Medieval English Language and Literature in the UK, but, having come to the realisation that I made a foolish choice for a degree, I am tentatively slithering my way into cognitive linguistics (my degree does feature some linguistics, so I will do a masters in straight linguistics, specialising in evolutionary and cognitive studies, and then move into hard experimental psychology of language).

Greetings,

I'm just here to learn more, and challenge myself. I'll try to keep out of your way mostly or at least until I know enough to engage in discussions without coming across as a complete idiot... I can't make promises but I'll try my best XD

okay, I suppose that is enough with the self deprecation...

Thanks for having me here,

Hey. I'm 16 and in high school. I just got a grant from the Google STEM project and used the money to do an experiment on quantum trapping by super cooling a superconductor and having it 'pinch' the magnetic fields of magnets, causing it to float it was a lot of fun but now I'm looking for something else to do over the summer. My favorite subjects in physics are particle physics, quantum physics, and electromagnetism so I want to build something centered around those subjects. I wish I could build a neutrino sensor but I don't have the room or money for it. I do still have the magnets (about 200 3/4x1/4x1/4 in. the poles emanating from the far ends) and superconductor so maybe I could incorporate either of those. I'm still looking for idea.

Hello, I was told about this place by a vampire pig - perhaps not the only person who can say that - who knows me as "science" (yup, I got there first).

Though science was my first love and I intended to be a priest when I grew up, I wound up a history and literature teacher in Korea, a job that I love because I can be a bad (that is, within my value system, good) influence on young'uns while constantly learning more about the world. One thing that I'm proud of is the diversity of material that I cover in my history classes - not just standard political and social history, but lots of culture (especially music), math, science, and technology as well. Hopefully the knowledgeable people here will be able to help me do a better job with the history of chemistry, on which I'm very weak, and maybe also the history of geology, of which I know so little that I've never even tried to work it into my classes.

At this point in my life, my main interest is probably music, particularly jazz and classical, though I'm looking to learn more about South Asian music in the future. My main goal is to retire and travel, and to achieve that I need to spend less of my money on CDs and books. If you recommend something really good to me, I will love you, because I have an addiction, but you should regard yourself as an enabler.
