Then you are now eligible for one "get out of jail free" card. :D

Your attitude just got you another warning :D

i've got plenty of those.....

LOL herme3's final few responses in that thread were hilarious. I went back to it through your link and had a great laugh.

I don't get it, what was the purpose of this thread? Do you want us to tell you to be polite to people so you don't get warnings? Or to encourage you to keep saying what you think!?

I think the automated system considers all flamers to be somewhat stupid and in need of several billion reminders. Perhaps if you reply back that you have a dispute it will start ignoring you. :D

It's automated!??! Then how does it know what is a flamer? Like if I say keywords will it send a warning?

The warning is given by staff; the email regarding the warning is automated, as is keeping track of when the points mature and expire.

We're working on a system which renders electrical shocks to those who abuse the system. There are some hardware problems involved. In the near future, make sure to check the YES box when asked if you'd like to order our new SFN headbands with USB cable attachments.

what?, did you seriously think that the warning alone was the ONLY punishment? LOL :))))

i thought they'd go away by themselves. the other one did.
No, you're thinking of cold sores. vBulletin automated warnings are like creationists; illogical, persistant and more prolific than you thought possible.

i keep getting this one now. and it was removed before the last one.

i still don't think that was spam, though. it is just as valid as Christianity. imo, if FSM gets a spam warning, so should God, but that isn't what this thread is about.

Sorry this is taking so long, but I'm having a bit of trouble identifying why the system is doing what it's doing. I thought that by removing that particular problem, it might admit the solution. However, obviously that didn't work. I shall look into it.

Oh silly me, there's already a thread for it. Sorry about that.

It's rather efficient actually, I'll never off topic post again :P

  • 2 weeks later...

Last nights message got sent at 10:00 PM (instead of 9:59, the time they were being sent at previously).

Add me to the list for this, my old off-topic warning has been coming up every day now for weeks.
