  1. It's more a matter of when...
  2. Intercontinental, seems to be a limiting factor when compared to space...
  3. Niether, I'm saying it's not an effective defence, are you suggesting otherwise???
  4. ICBM's aren't designed to explode in space, let alone escape from the gravity well. It's not as simple as nukes are the ultimate destructive power, therefore I'm protected if I unleash them. It's like saying "rat poison, will save humanity"...
  5. If he thinks that then he's obviously biased, I imagine... I've definately got a stalker... 🙄
  6. Indeed, just not sure you understood the significance...

  12. No they didn't, there's nothing in historical record's that suggests that idea, while there's plenty of evidence to suggest they thought it was a globe. The map they did have was a social one, how to get along with their fellow's and how to defend against their aggressor etc. the truth of that map is still true today. There's a reason why the death of god scared Neitzche so much and why he spent so much time trying to think of a replacement. My point is, it doesn't matter what the facts are today, bc they will change tomorrow. My apologies @sethoflagos, it was intended as a joke but I was drunk at the time. 🙄

  16. How do we know what seeds will bear fruit, If we don't plant them?
  17. Indeed but as far as anyone can tell, the idea of a flat earth is only now/recently believed; does that mean we're getting stupider?
  18. We all seem to be forgeting the context of this discussion, maybe the science of awe can bring some perspective to my position. I'm not saying god is true, but for some people god brings a sense of awe, that other's find on the summit of Everest; and for most it brings a sense of happiness among other thing's: The Power of Sharing Moments of Awe | Psychology Today Fundamentally all I'm saying is, the Quran contains a philosophy that's worth reading even for athiests. I don't, I'm just trying to hold up a mirror to your objections, then maybe you can see for yourself.
  19. You have yet to explain, why it's a bad thing.
  20. It depends on what you want to discuss?
  21. I couldn't give a shit, is it important to you???
  22. The saddest thing is, you believe that...
