  1. Build a form, place the leaves, and pour clear epoxy. Bonus points if you then use a lathe to shape it further: https://www.instructables.com/Epoxy-Resin-and-Scrap-Wood-Bowl-Woodturning-How-To/ I saw a cool lamp made out of epoxy and pine cones turned on a lathe, but that's also off-topic (my apologies to the OP): https://www.pbs.org/video/resin-and-woodturned-table-lamp-bnej68/
  2. You misspelled executed
  3. I'm sure it will once your ideas do. Also, you're already allowed to write in mainstream sections. The issue is that you're not writing about accepted ideas or those in the mainstream based on centuries of evidence.
  4. You've reminded me of another product I've had some fun with. It's by Rustoleum and used to be called NeverWet, but seems to have been rebranded as Shield H2O. I once sprayed a regular old paper facial tissue (Kleenex) with this stuff and was able to use it as a bowl that successfully held water without breaking or deteriorating. While I'm not a standard barometer of what people in the world may think, IMO it was super cool. https://www.rustoleum.com/product-catalog/consumer-brands/shield-h2o/
  5. Heated ones Also, oily ones
  6. Yes, but by upending his username to the end of every thread title he creates he is better optimizing his ideas in search engine results... nonsense or not
  7. If you want to break a bowl or drinking glass with a hammer or power drill, it’s not the sound waves you’ll be using to do so
  8. While you may take offense at the comments, you and your “argument” are not the same thing and his comments were very clearly about your “argument,” not you.
  9. I find the advanced rail energy storage system to be a cool idea, but may not be precisely what’s being sought by the OP https://interestingengineering.com/energy-storage-trains-work-power-gravity
  10. This was apparently too much to ask
  11. When you draw an outline around the one on the left, it even looks like a middle finger sticking up at you 🖕
  12. As Phi already shared, that was not what I did. I’m quite capable of referencing a dictionary or Google myself. I DID comment on the lack of credibility of one of the websites you provided when asked to support your claim that it was “TRUTH!!” that the US capitalistic system WILL soon collapse. When I made this comment, you then suggested I’m clearly over reactive and emotional about the word Marxism. It’s fairly well apparent that you either have a problem with reading comprehension, intellectual honesty, or perhaps both. Regardless, none of this is either interesting nor on-topic. This thread is about the insurrection on January 6. If you’d like to further explore the likelihood (or what you claim is an inevitability) of the capitalistic parts of the US economic system collapsing, then please do so in a separate thread. See above
  13. There’s no there there. We see shiny stuff on Mars all of the time. This is nothing new and has happened with past photos. Sometimes, it’s just plastic from the rover or landing vehicle itself: https://www.cnet.com/news/curiositys-new-bright-shiny-object-is-actually-martian/ https://www.cnet.com/news/nasa-identifies-mars-rovers-mysterious-bright-object/ Other times, it’s a cosmic ray being detected by the camera equipment: https://www.cnet.com/news/mysterious-light-in-mars-image-sparks-curiosity/ But in most cases, it’s just our feeble human brains forcing us to see patterns even when they’re not actually there, like this woman on Mars (and like is almost certainly happening here in this silly thread): Pareidolia strikes again!
  14. Technically, it depends on the nature of sound emitted by the drill and the object(s) within the room under question, but in the VAST vast majority of situations your answer of NO is certainly correct. ‘I’m increasingly convinced we’re chatting with a bot, though.
  15. That you must better define your terms before meaningful discussion may occur. 1. Honest 2. Dignified 3. Expectation 4. Respect
  16. They’re also refusing to buy potatohead dolls since they’re actively loving to be more inclusive of transgendered kids Yes, those are all interesting opinion pieces highlighting some of the weaknesses in our current economic system. They are not “truth” claims about an inevitable crash as you seem to think. I assure you I’m primed, painted, and even fairly well weathered on these subjects, but appreciate your attempts to enlighten me like some naive uninformed child. I find the marxists dot org site to be especially credible in that endeavor
  17. Amazing how much this thread feels like one on a conspiracy site.
  18. Have you ever heard of Google? It’s a useful tool and you can ask it great questions like “how does noise induced hearing loss work?”
  19. Why not just toss in a desiccant packet or two?
  20. That’s gibberish and fails to answer my actual question. Would you like to try again, or just stop now while you’re... let’s call it... ahead?

Ok. It's a bit like suggesting that doctors mostly only hand out bandaids, but won't belabor it any further. I can feel the returns on this exchange already diminishing.
