US-Roe vs Wade overturned
Given that even birth control measures are currently being criminalized, I reckon this doesn't much matter for the particular issues being debated across the US right now. Even if it did, I don't suppose a 15-week old collection of cells could be considered as "feeling pain."

US-Roe vs Wade overturned
Yeah, the same sex marriage decision was also based on this underlying principle of personal privacy. It's about much more than abortion.

US-Roe vs Wade overturned
Women who have natural miscarriages will be charged with murder. That's where this particular pan is going unless something halts the extremists pushing this agenda.

You should review the rules here on proselytization. That much has been obvious from the start. You ignore feedback and how your position is being received by the audience with whom you're trying to engage, and that's sad. Then you cannot claim to be doing philosophy. You're evangelizing and little more.

US-Roe vs Wade overturned
It does, and those are already in place. Sadly, the laws are reverting to making it impossible often before the woman even knows she’s pregnant, and in many states plan on charging the woman and her doctor and the Uber driver who connected them with murder.

Why is alcohol legal ?
They're both psychotropics, but one is like driving a tricycle while the other is like driving a Bugatti.

A God Without Limitations
You are making a distinction without a difference. Your leap of faith applies equally to both. One is just more culturally acceptable than the other for adults to maintain. But fine… Why not a leap,of faith toward Zeus… or Thor… or Poseidon… or any of the other thousands of god(s) laying dead in the graveyard of human mythology? If you’re going to make up your own answers… answers beyond the reach of evidence… then why not unicorns? It really is all the same when faith and wish thinking alone are your guide. It’s also a bit of a lightning rod to help keep his particular brand of woo out of the biology and physics forums. Most of philosophy begins with defining our terms. So, define “god” in a unambiguous way. Go ahead. I’ll wait.

You should do something about that, then. That your ideas are bunk, maybe?

A God Without Limitations
I’m correcting things you say that are false. That’s not fighting, that’s helping. It adds criticism to your idea that differing approaches between science and religion is just a game and it does so in a lighthearted, humorous, pithy way. That battle is not a game, and it affects the lives of real people in very real (and often traumatic) ways. I don’t want what you’re selling, but you keep peddling it anyway.

Which means it’s indistinguishable from make believe, fiction, and even fantasy. Also, redundant use of “of” there, btw. If you’re going to try sounding more formal by avoiding use of a preposition at the end of a sentence, then don’t put it twice with one of those redundant entries appearing at the end of the sentence.

"I just want to find 11,780 votes"
I subscribe to several feeds and trusted aggregators. I have a focus on science, politics, economics, and business. Used to use google reader but now use Feedly. Mostly I read and mostly it comes to me. I follow up on articles that interest me and seek other views. I subscribe also to multiple daily newsletters from multiple different sources, as well as multiple different podcasts, many daily some weekly. I try to watch all of the Sunday shows weekly and pbs newshour daily. I listen to NPR when in the car and all caught up on my copious podcasts. I watch frontline and 60 minutes and other similar film based news overview programs, too. I don’t have cable and don’t go to their websites. I don’t follow everything, but know how to find good sources that are trustworthy and am a very informed citizen.

US-Roe vs Wade overturned
I understand and appreciate that you’re reaching for hope and I have a desire to join you in minimizing forecasted harms… but… Poor women and minority women will have disproportionately more difficulty in accessing or affording these alternatives. They lack access to medical care, funds for prescriptions, often lack a car or ability to travel for treatment or to fill prescriptions if they’re lucky enough to have coverage, and some of them don’t even have internet to find these things. As always, the wealthy and well-to-do (those who are connected) will be largely unaffected by this, but the most vulnerable and at risk populations have now been made even more vulnerable and at risk. Killing the filibuster to pass abortion rights legislation seems more likely to me, but even that is a Hail Mary long shot.

War Games: Russia Takes Ukraine, China Takes Taiwan. US Response?
Nobody but you cares, Serg. From Axios: The U.S. has "highly credible" intelligence the Kremlin is planning to organize "sham referenda" as a pretext to annex occupied territories in eastern Ukraine into Russia sometime in mid-May, a top U.S. diplomat warned yesterday. The aggressive step could coincide with Russia's May 9 "Victory Day" holiday. Some Western officials believe Vladimir Putin will use the occasion to declare war on Ukraine officially, and fully mobilize Russia's reserve forces.

And most of them are considered "trigger laws," which means they're already on the books, already approved, already signed into law, and will automatically go into effect the MOMENT the SCOTUS decision becomes official. Just like that... Boom. Half the country jumps back in time by 50 years. This will be ALL the mid-term elections are about. It will drive turnout. The only question is if the rabid anti-abortion god followers turn out in greater frequency than the ~75% of the rest of the country who actually approves of Row and doesn't want it overturned. My guess? They will turn out in greater number. For those animated by this particular wedge issue, the animation is stronger for those against allowing safe, legal, limited abortions. In which case, we're screwed. Data: Axios research. Cartogram: Sara Wise and Oriana Gonzalez/Axios

A God Without Limitations
There are MULTIPLE different types of intelligence (ability to solve math problems, ability to communicate effectively, ability to understand and relate to the emotions of others, the ability to generate music, and so on), and none are universally agreed upon. We've had many threads on this and still not found a consensus answer other than, "It depends on what you're measuring." On that note, another measure of MY and YOUR intelligence will be to recognize that's off-topic here.

What is Art?
Art is a created piece or experience that causes us to feel something new or see/consider the world in new ways.

Only because we’re the ones defining what I means to be intelligent.

A God Without Limitations
Quite the opposite. Our minds tend to invent narratives in an attempt to explain incoming stimuli before actually understanding things. Fictions like gods, for example. Have fun playing with yourself You have NO IDEA what me and others here have paused to question. Comments like these are not just ignorant, but arrogant. Good, because thus far you’ve done a lot of asserting and zero explaining. Apparently some of us in a short bus kinda way.
