    Was watching my son's dogs while he was on vacation, and they raided my chicken coop. Ripped the siding off to get in.

      Did they kill them all? foxes will do so - seemingly unnecessarily (it that isn't too much of an anthropomorphism - it is)

      They were working on it. I caught them in the act and they were running from chicken to chicken, biting and tearing. The dogs seemed to me to be in a kind of frenzy. Five minutes later they were begging for belly rubs, not a care in the world. Lost half the chickens and those that are left have quit laying.
