Technically this is a project, but it homework too because I need help. My teacher for English class makes us research about a topic and then a few months later to present said topic to the class. One of the requirements needed would be an expert on the topic, someone that I don't know but is well informed on said area. Coincidentally, mine is on Computer Science, or more on the software components of it, a topic that I thought would be good but then realized it's kind of broad. Either way, I gotta stick to this because dedication is 100% lit. What I would need would generally be on what you would think Computer Science really is, and how your job, hobby, or a…

Hello, I need to calculate the yield % of [(Ph)3PH]2[CoCl4] The actual yield is 2.715g My issue is with the theoretical yield, here is how I did it: I'm following this reaction that was given in the explanations of my homework; (C6H5)3P + HCl => (C6H5)3PH+ + Cl- Molar mass of (C6H5)3P: 262.29 g/mol Molar mass of (C6H5)3PH+: 263.30 g/mol Mass of Triphenylphosphine measured: 1.062 g n(triphenylphosphine)=m(triphenylphosphine)/M(triphenylphosphine) =1.062g/(262.29 g/mol)=4.049×10-3 mol Molar mass of [(Ph)3PH]2[CoCl4] : 727.33 g/mol Since there are 2 molecules of (Ph)3PH in the [(Ph)3PH]2[CoCl4], the n(triphenylphosphine) needs to be divided by 2.…

Hello, in an inorganic chemistry lab we did the following reaction: To VOSO4 add a pinch of potassium hydrogen tartrate, 1mL of the p-phenetidine reagent, 1mL of saturated KClO3 solution and the 2mL of H2O. The result we get is a mixture with three distinct layers: Top layer is a transparent Grey-purple liquid, Middle layer is a brown-black bubble oil layer, Bottom layer is a white precipitate with a flaky appearance. In my report, I need to represent this reaction with chemical equations. Any ideas? I've done my research, and I don't find any information in regards to this type of reaction. Thank you for answering, MV101

  19. Hi! new here, I'm working on a group paper for school where we research some theories put forward by the teacher, we're going down a particular route looking at the problem of nuclear weapons and for one bit we're looking into the creation process itself. We're sort of stuck trying to work out if the weaponizing part of the process is it all in any way reversible and if it would be in any way humanly possible to take either the "weaponized" enriched uranium and plutonium and reverse into a state where it could be used for nuclear power again? Sorry if we're missing something really obvious but some help would be really appreciated! It's just an element of our research tha…

My homework is self-inflicted as I exited Physics in 1964 . Weight of 1kg is a force of 10 Newtons and dropping 1kg 5meters for 1 second makes 10 Newtons which stretches the credibility. Anyway , I'm replicating a force of .5kg at 40 meters /sec velocity which may well be 20 Newtons, who knows. It seems that 2kg at rest is also 20 Newtons . Anyone know an equation for Newtons at rest as gravity force?

What are the final partial pressures of H2 and N2 after the stopcock between the two flasks is opened? (Assume the final volume in 3.00L) What is the total pressure in torr? One side of the bulb is H2 and it has 2.0L H2 and 475 torr. The other side is N2 and has 1.0L N2 and .200 atm. Please someone help me!!!!! I was given a scenario in which a woman is heterozygous for the deafness gene, her husband also being heterozygous. I was asked to complete a punnett square, in which I used D for the deafness gene and d for the hearing gene, and I got DD, Dd, Dd and dd, so from that I figured that there's a 75% chance of carrying the deafness gene, 25% of the child being deaf and 25% of the child being able to hear. Assuming the woman had another child, I was supposed to give the probability of her having two deaf children in a row, and I thought that would still be 25%, thought something tells me I am extremely wrong. Finally, I'm supposed to give the probability of the woman …
