Alot of teenagers when they hear the word 'school' they just well grow sick and don't want to do it. I agree, it's boring sometimes, and i dislike all subjects except... Science. Something about Science interests me big time. I think it's the feeling that you get when a friend says 'Do you get this?' and you know you do. When i was younger scientists were like geniuses and everything to them was complex to me, but now that i understand some i feel part of that group. I love science. Why do you love Science? P.S. What is the name of the one-celled organism we all started out as? Started with a Z, forgot it...

Well, i'm not sure whether this sign is only experienced in Singapore. So, wanna ask your views on that. IN the past, i found that people tend to be more friendly to each other. For example, neighbours living around the same area would greet each other even though both are completely strangers. If it is not greeting, they would smile at each other and ask a question or two to start a friendly conversation? Yet, now, everyone seems to be becoming self-centred and cold towards one another. this greatly dampens the community spirit, and the joy of living together in one community. Food for thought: what has caused us to be like that? What are your views?

I have a modelling exam tomorrow on stuff like heat flow, wave equation, Laplace/Fourier transforms and fluid flow and I've come to the realisation that mathematics causes Gulf War Syndrome. Maybe one day the government will recognise my plight and not claim that my condition is purely psychological. Complex analysis is all fun and games until someone loses an i.

Im not sure if it is a permanent fixture or not. But on the front page of this site there is a Goolgle ad for "The Final Theory" and I was wondering if anyone actually believes this crap and if so who? I just skimmed a few paragraphs from the site and I felt like screaming. this is the site I checked the claim that this book is a science bestseller at Amazon.com and I found that it is NOT. I feel slightly comforted now that I know that Brian Greene's great books are bestsellers. I thought I had drastically underestimated the worlds stupidity, but I am happy to learn that I have not. Still, any thoughts on the subject?

I do not know much about this subject, which of course brings me to wonder: how did we as humans come to be? How did dinosaurs come to be? What started life on earth? Was there any species before dinosaurs? How does evolution work? I know this is a lot to answer at once but these have been buggin' me. Anyone know, or have any theorys?

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/newspaper/0,,176-1347343,00.html "Jad Marrouche is — just — keeping his head above water. A bright 18-year-old, he’s studying physics at Imperial College in London. By living with his parents and brother in a cramped flat in north Kensington, with the help of a £1,500 scholarship and with fees paid for by the state, he’s got fewer debts than most second-year students. But if Jad were starting student life in the autumn of 2006 he would, he says, be far, far better off. Even though universities will be allowed to raise tuition fees to £3,000 a year, for clever kids the future looks surprisingly rosy. " u wondering why they picked hi…

By the way, Sayonara and others.....I'm off to Paris on a work related thing....how cool is that!!! Except I'll probably get hideously lost on the old metro system. Off to see a person who can do PCR on phenomenally small amounts of DNA.

found this in yahoo news message board which is typically filled with racist comments about muslims and flame wars between libs and cons. but i found this gem. dont know where the author got it from. CHANGE A LIGHT BULB? TEN: 1. One to deny that a light bulb needs to be changed. 2. One to attack the patriotism of anyone who says the light bulb needs to be changed. 3. One to blame Clinton for burning out the light bulb. 4. One to tell the nations of the world that they are either: "For changing the light bulb or for darkness." 5. One to give a billion dollar no-bid contract to Halliburton for the new light bulb. 6. One to arrange a photogra…

SAT is in the morning. That means I have to get up early and spend three hours filling in bubbles. At least I don't have to write an essay. Sucks to be the next group of people taking it. Wait, I am good at essays. Damn, we need one.
