Speculations

There are currently 4 known dimensions. The three spatial dimensions and time. I was wondering about the possibility of more than one dimension of time, just as there are more than one dimension of space. I'd be interested in hearing what the members of this forum have to say about this thought. You can speculate about extra dimensions of time yourself if you want.

The way I always saw light, was that it is a wave that excites particles in what ever medium it is traveling through. The frequency of light is was what determined the distance it would travel or the influence it has on the excitement of the particles in that medium. Light being a particle and a wave. I figured that light was just a wave, the particle side of it, was actually particles being manipulated in the medium by that wave. All the other forces in nature have opposites – so what makes gravity different? I believe gravity does have an opposing force, that is, a celestial object of large enough size pushing on itself. All of the mass in the Earth pushes against itself creating a significant amount of energy. Let me qualify this by saying that I am not a scientist and can offer no proof to my speculations. I have been wondering lately if the universe is not expanding but pulsing. If we are in an expansive wave of the pulse, would it not look like an expansion? If this occurred over billions of years, we would never see the contractive side of the pulse, but might be led to believe that put into reverse the expansion started at the big bang rather than the contractive side of the pulse. For some reason there's a lot more matter than anti-matter. Because there's more matter than anti-matter and it is not proven that there was a being in the creation of the universe to tamper with matter, it is the nature of the universe itself to be inherently anti-symmetrical. Hello, I have found something remarkable which explains the unification of mass acceleration and energy. The confusion behind this is because gravity I have found has a twin! The relation in philosophy is the Yin and Yang, Negative And Positive, Good And Bad etc... I am looking for someone whom I can "show" through theoretical mathimatics that this relation holds true. According to physics weight=mass*gravity. Since mass and gravity are constants weight must be a constant too. I searched the literature and found several papers (Glaser, 1990; Dmitriev, 2003) showing weights of heated metals decrease at increasing temperatures. Glaser says air convection is responsible for weight reduction but Dmitriev weight reduction of a heated thermal insulator cast doubt on Glaser's explanation. Surely not conclusive. I propose an experiment to test this; weigh a heated metal in vacuum. If weight decreases at increasing temperatures in vacuum, as my theory predicts, F=ma is disproved.
