On a more serious note are you by chance talking about the Hendo hoverboard? Something like that should have a name brand On it. Granted I certainly won't pay 10 k for a board.

The board purportedly uses electromagnets, i.e. it is battery powered. The exact specifications remain a company secret.

Unfortunately that model was only produced for a limited time following Mattel's successful Kickstarter campaign.

 

You may still be able to find a replacement battery on Alibaba, though the official Eurasian supplier went out of business some time ago after a hostile takeover by the Pan American Commonwealth went sideways.
