As I've understood the situation, the biggest hurdle for growing replacement parts is differentiation. It would appear that this researcher has solved it.

 

Imagine the implications. New hearts for heart patients, new limbs for amputees, new eyes, new legs.

 

And all without the need for anti rejection drugs.
