Anyways, why, if the mods get larger avatars, why is the file size limit smaller but the pixel size bigger for them?

here's the deal:

 

I switched the limit recently (maybe a month and a half to two months ago). Those who have had their icon since before the switch get to keep them. If you change your avatar now, you'll have the new limits. Icons out of the gallery are also immune to limits.

It was an oversight really, but I'm not likely to change it. When I changed the avatar size limits I didn't apply it to moderators and admins.

Those extra 25 X 25 pixels DO make all the difference though hahahahha

ok heres a question how do you make the images smaller so you can fit them into the limit when i did make them smaller and tried it it said not a valid route so how could i do it

Use an image manipulation program like PSP or Photoshop.

I used the Oh-So-Mighty Photoshop. My avatar was 800x100 I think, before I shrunk it.
