just a thought: how easy would it be to copy the SFN template and whach big-moosie's image up on one template, so that we could chose christmas/hannika at SFN?

 

Ah! Something isn't quite right with your image Dak, it leaves a little white bar underneath...anyone have any idea why? Can you save it directly as jpeg? I had to convert it with gimp...maybe that had something to do with it.

 

m$ paint + shaky hands = hard to clip it down to the right size; soz.

Or you could just look for the image at Wikipedia where it's likely been released to the public domain.

Here's my contribution. It's animated, so it's pretty monstrously large for an image. But it looks fairly cool, so meh ;)

It looks great, but perhaps you could have the snowflakes stop as they hit the logo? It would make it look more realistic.

 

I thought they were just falling in front of the logo.

Trouble is that it makes it very difficult to actually animate that on a continuous loop. Plus, my animation sk1llz aren't really that amazing :P

 

Yeah, to change it, you'd probably have to edit each frame individually, and would be a bitch.

These aren't really Christmas logos though - more winter logos....

 

... they look good though.
