FACT: Thomas Edison was so adamant that the US should use direct current, supplied by smaller generators rather than rival Westinghouse's alternating current, that he endorsed the use of the electric chair for executions in order to prove how lethal AC current was, even though he was not in favor of capital punishment.

He probably typed whatever he wanted to verify into google and then just put the first link that came up without even reading the content...

According to the Food and Drug Administration, chocolate can have up to 60 insect fragments per 100 grams and up to one rodent's hair per 100 grams.

Here is the FDA Defect Levels Handbook. Although I do not suggest reading it if you are eating or plan on eating today.

On the north pole of saturn, there is a group of clouds that are the shape of a perfect hexagon.

It would be incorrect to assume it is just a "group of clouds." We really don't yet know what the feature is.

http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/cassini/media/cassini-20070327.html

The new images taken in thermal-infrared light show the hexagon extends much deeper down into the atmosphere than previously expected, some 100 kilometers (60 miles) below the cloud tops.
A system of clouds lies
within
the hexagon.

Apparently most people fear spiders more than they do death. Why would that be, I wonder? I mean, the worst thing a spider bite can do is kill you.

" Studies show that if a cat falls off the seventh floor of a building it has about thirty percent less chance of surviving ...Studies show that if a cat falls off the seventh floor of a building it has about thirty percent less chance of surviving than a cat that falls off the twentieth floor. It supposedly takes about eight floors for the cat to realize what is occurring, relax and correct itself."

so they threw some test cats off of a building multiple times??????

You can't just copy/paste the displayed link on SFN. If it has ellipses, it means the displayed link was shortened.

Anyway, it's just a site of collected items, that are not sourced. However, there was a study, and it's mentioned here:

along with an objection to how the statistics were collected.

According to Wikipedia ‘’ the atmosphere of earth is a layer of gases surrounding the planet earth that is retained by earth’s gravity. The atmosphere protects life on earth by absorbing ultraviolet solar radiation.’’* And reference to NASA ‘’ the atmosphere also protects us from high _energy radiation and the frigid vacuum of space.’’*

It is interesting for me but what is more interesting than that?

The book of Muslims refers to this fact clearly before one thousand years ... the book (Quran) said what means ‘’ we made the sky preserved protected roof yet still they turn away from our signs...’’

Yeah, because varying interpretations of such clear and precise language is not at all possible.

Psst... My meaning is this: That could mean anything you want it to, so is really without utility.

The trouble is there are multiple possible interpretations for that. For example, it could mean that the atmosphere is protected from being damaged, so that we can't pollute it. It could mean that we can't "climb" the atmosphere, ie fly. If someone says something vague enough then there is almost certainly an interpretation that happens to be true. The Nostradamus folks do this all the time; fortune tellers do it professionally.

dear inow

i am sorry maybe i displayed the subject badly i have link has further information

my point is i like some scientific facts the scientists discovered in our period but we can find same facts before by some other way !

anyway that is your opinion however I still believe my meaning because if you can read the page of book you can investigate the data with context after that it becomes more clear

the best wishes
