Guinea 'pigs' with acid reflux, please ?

Featured Replies

Regards.

Some of you may have that stomach acid reflux, take the calcium bicarbonate tablets, or the pink stuff, or fancier reliefs.   Next time, please, have a gulp of wine and come back with observations.  I have tried some liquor (anise) too and worked.  Bourbon, meeeh.   Would like to see your reports.  Thanks. 🤔

It's quite commonly what causes the problem in the first place.

How do you put a fairly volatile liquid in a pill?

Carefully?

I'd find a doctor and see what is causing it. Chronic reflux can corrupt the cells lining your oesophagus, damage your tooth enamel, amongst other things. Don't Band-Aid it with chalk. This is the downer about private medicine... is THAT worth spending on?

The cause can be this, that or the other but is not the subject here.  Am asking if a gulp of wine/liquor gives relief or stops the reflux for you.
