If I am only 1/8 of a certain race should I honor that part of me?

Featured Replies

If I am 1/8 Russian should I honor that part of me or not? Is it enough for me to call myself "Part Russian" or should I just represent and take pride in being what my major race is.

What do you think people, thank you in advance?

Think more about the future, not about the past..

If I were you, I would bother only whether some genetic illnesses or disorders were inherited from the past generations.

Lack of exchange of genes with people from other regions of the world in some closed for too long communities leads to inbreeding , genetic disorders and genetic illnesses.

ps. Russians also had a few great personalities in the history of the world. Such as Dmitri Mendeleev

Race isn't really scientific, but should feel free to honor your ancestry.
