  1. I think scientiscts should be using thier knowledge for better uses, such as human genetics, instead of choclate genetics lol
  2. Just eat healthy, height is 90% genetics and untill gene therapy or something else comes untill play you cant increase you height. It is predetermined by genetics

  12. I think this is the general gist of things. Introns are commonly efered to as junk DNA but we do now know that they are implicated in regulatory functions e.t.c. So although they dont code functional proteins. They have an effect on coding DNA which does encode functional proteins.
  13. On the other hand there are also genes that are known as longevity genes and these genes have been implicated in longevity. From my lectures on ageing i think there is a 25% heritability componont to ageing. But that is just a ballpark figure not 100% definitive
