  1. I prefer to trust first and hope I'm not proven wrong. Yes, unless the evidence is overwhelming (caught red-handed). Well, that's what we do when we vote.
  2. Generally, we don't. It's perfectly possible for two statements from the same person to both contradict and be truthful. Judges don't do that, jurors do.
  3. It very much depends on what the person in question considers to be morally negative.
  4. That's just a really long-winded way to say opinion is true, spoiler alert, it's not. Don't get me wrong, I have argued long and hard, in many threads, that Bibles contain wisdom and that wisdom is as valid today as it was then; but is wisdom true? A metaphor I've used before "All roads lead to Rome" by which I mean there is more than one path to wisdom, I could say my path is true and if I found wisdom it would be, but only for me, IOW whats true for me is not universal however accurate.
  5. Normally I wouldn't but I don't think Raider is a troll, just confused.
  6. Cognitive dissonance (the force) is strong with you, but which side will you choose? The gun or Jesus (light or dark)?
  7. I can't believe what I'm seeing in this thread, Jesus, Gandhi, Mandela all with AK's??? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_India_Company History people, it's all there...
  8. WTF??? May I suggest you take a step back and THINK about what you're saying, I know you're young and believe what you've been told but just remember, Jesus didn't have a gun.
  9. Being killed by an oppressive government is seldom peaceful.
  10. If you can't win using a spud-gun, you need a new strategy.
  11. Like I said a strawman, when did I say the win is instant? Besides, if you throw a lit bottle of petrol at them, they have an excuse but if you stand unarmed against them, they have a problem.
  12. How come they didn't just shoot him and move on (or just move on)? What makes you think that's new?
  13. Really? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiananmen_Square_protests_of_1989
  14. Once more with the strawman: You say no more and point a gun at a tank, how does that help? I say no more and stand unarmed in front of one; Which do you think will be successful?
  15. There's always more people than oligarchs and oligarchs would rather kill for their beliefs than die for them. And that's why the oppressive government will eventually fail because a martyr fights anyway.
  16. Violence doesn't work against an oppressive government, but martyrdom does. Besides a musket v musket is a winnable fight with enough numbers, sidearm v tanks/drones aren't, despite numbers.
