  1. I think it can lubricate iirc. Also - I though that a VERY small amount was made at the edge of any flame (candle even). Does helium increase the yield of this? I haven't looked at it in years.
  2. ... what if someone professed to be an atheist? That totally contradicts Judaism - would that make you anti-sematic in the eyes of the Rabbis?
  3. Which question/s? Start again, it has got confused. The OP was well covered in the thread. So what question is left outstanding here? So you concede now that it was air movement and not gravity generated by your spinning mass now?
  4. Will 'what' do 'what' with the metal tube?
  5. Answers to what? Ask a question and we'll answer it. The attraction between 2 objects is governed by the equation for gravity that I gave you. Others have pointed out that the difference in pull on the poles to that on the equator is negligible. What is it you are asking for? The spinning has nothing to do with gravity but will effect the pull you feel (negligibly) due to the reasons we have already discussed. Your spinning mass in the tube doesn't create gravity and can't be directed through a metal tube. The movement of your tissue in the other thread is due to air moving from the spinning mass. What are we missing? What do you want to know?
  6. Your claim was that the earths spinning caused the gravity and that it sucked the air to the earth which pinned us to it. Have you changed your mind? Have you conceded that your spinning mass in the tube is not creating gravity? Have you worked out that it was just pushing air around and you saw the knock on effect of that? I think you know that the gravity on the moon has nothing to do with the atmosphere there or lack of.... or do you want to play troll a little longer and pursue it further?
  7. So why do you fall when you get above the air then? Where is the 'air pressure' coming from when you are up above the atmosphere on the edge of space? Why is there gravity on the moon? I am finding it hard to believe you actually believe this. Why is there air pressure at all if gravity isn't pulling on the air squashing it to the earth. Totally ridiculous - read a high school physics book. It is an attractive force between all masses. All masses do this and always have every time we have measured it. I gave you the equation in your other thread.
  8. He thinks that the spinning mass generates a gravity field which you can direct down a steel pipe. See his other thread. He also stated it was not gravity but air pressure on the earth pushing us down that provided the force for us to stick to the earth rather than gravity. I am not sure how those 2 'theories' are supposed to fit together, but the lack of atmosphere on the moon kinda blows the second one away. Simple observation destroys the first.
  9. I didn't know this either: Semitic sɪˈmɪtɪk/ adjective adjective: Semitic 1. relating to or denoting a family of languages that includes Hebrew, Arabic, and Aramaic and certain ancient languages such as Phoenician and Akkadian, constituting the main subgroup of the Afro-Asiatic family. 2. relating to the peoples who speak Semitic languages, especially Hebrew and Arabic
  10. Are any of them cumulative poisons do you know? Might be safe for a while but better to avoid long term build up?
  11. https://www.newscientist.com/article/mg23931920-600-mind-over-matter-you-really-can-think-yourself-healthier-and-happier/?utm_medium=SOC&utm_campaign=Echobox&utm_source=Facebook#Echobox=1535455434 Placebo not just for drugs... positive thinking improves performance and health. Being cheered on will make you more positive about your coming performance which could help enhance this self promoting placebo effect. (maybe).
  12. Well I've seen horses, dogs, cats, ants and many other animals on this planet alone - so I know you are wrong.
  13. Not knowing what you are looking for it is hard to give you a list. Try typing 'volatile oils' into google. This is the second hit on the 1st page. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_essential_oils
  14. I am not a medical doctor - so please don't take any advice from my speculation.... but I don't see how they would sell it for eating if it was dangerous. That said - I don't like the look of the 'Cadmium, lead, Mercury and Arsenic' in there listed as contaminants. Maybe they are bound up in complexes or something other wise I wouldn't touch it... although - after looking up there is less mercury in that in ppm than you would get in any fish taken out of the sea. Not my field though - but if sold to eat, then it would probably be ok otherwise the seller would be in trouble.
  15. When I was at uni studying science we had a number of philosophy students that would seek us out for 'debates'. After getting to know them for a bit one confessed to me that they were told by their lecturer to 'seek out' science students for debate. They were told to introduce the question "If a tree falls in the woods and no one is there to witness it does it make a sound?" As first year science students we were all over it arguing that of course it DID make a sound by very definition of what a sound is (vibrations through the air) and by knowledge of what happens when a tree falls and solids impact on each other. They knew all this and kept coming back with - 'but how can you know'? We would defend the science behind being able to predict precisely what would happen when a heavy wooden object came crashing to the floor and they would question this further. They did not care if they won the argument or not as they did not really care about the question (they knew the answer anyway) - it was more about semantics, but they were to keep the discussions going as long as possible. They were being sent out to practice their debating and thinking skills. I am not saying that this is why your pal is debating this subject with you.... but be aware that they do do this deliberately sometimes to scientists in particular because they know you will bite and give them a good argument. I have no idea if they still do this or if it was a one off with the lecturer at our uni with his particular students or if it is a standard exercise done with philosophy students. I really do not know. Anyone know if this was a one off thing or do philosophy students get told to do this everywhere? Cheers.
  16. The possibility of undercut or water seeping under the thing and softening the earth below the foundation was going to be my next question Maybe, finally after a few hundred years. That wall was built before the USA probably. I have seen 500 year old bridges.
  17. Any nearby fracking sites? There have been some minor earth quakes in the UK over the past couple of decades also. I have felt 2 in the last 15 years. Last one I was quite close too and it woke me at 3am. I'm not saying this is the cause but just enquiring as they could have contributed possibly.
  18. You can claim what you like - it is wrong. It doesn't need solving as we already fully understand what happened when fluids are displaced by moving objects like large vehicles and fans in tubes. There are equations for it and everything. Why not take a course in physics or something if you are serious about learning about how it works? Your way looks like it might lead to confusion and total misunderstanding. Newton was congratulated on his theories and he claimed to have only got there from 'standing on the shoulders of giants'. What he meant was that he got to where he did by taking the work of many hundreds of people before him across centuries and extended the knowledge further through testing reality and measuring what he saw with precision. He didn't just see an apple drop from a tree and work it all out in a flash of thought. If you want to start from scratch with knowledge and ignore centuries of learning then you will die before you are even close to misunderstanding what an atom is. Or you can read a book and ask questions on sites like this and listen to the answers people give you.
  19. I see it now with people at work going on about Tommy Robinson and the Muslims that were jailed for being part of a paedophile ring. There were white local people jailed a decade ago for running a daughter swap paedophile ring just up the road from here. There was a guy who worked in there very department who went to jail for grooming a 13 year old girl. That was disgusting. It is disgusting whatever your race or religion - many humans ARE disgusting... but I see them solely blaming all the countries problems on immigrants. Half our workers here are Polish... I don't care - they are all fine humans to me. Some here hate them for 'taking all our jobs'. If they weren't such c**ts they wouldn't be loosing their jobs to these very respectable, very polite hard working and obedient people. I used to be more right wing but I have changed a lot over the years. I learnt and worked out that most of the things that I was angry about weren't even true and were lies and propaganda propagated to make people angry so they would join the political cause. It is very difficult getting this across to right wingers though - they really don't care about facts or people - they just want some righteous anger to direct towards some group or another. If I explain that they are looking at the world with polarized glasses on they will say I am brainwashed by education or will simply not believe me. I despair. At least people are talking about such things now - the last couple of decades have not allowed conversation to take place and anyone who mentioned immigration was immediately branded a racist and the conversations were shut down. That is why we now have this brexit debacle imo - people are fed up with not being allowed to talk about their fears and grievances and they let that out in the vote. Sorry - this might be off of the topic of the OP now... but it is all along the same line of conversation and is related by the fact the topic has lead us here.
  20. What are you even talking about? What theory? So far - you spin a wheel in a tube (which will OBVIOUSLY create air currents and movement) and claim that, what? Gravity is being distorted by the spinning wheel and directed through the metal pipe to pull on the tissue? Is that your speculation? Come on!! it is totally ridiculous and falsifiable by many reasons already given which you have ignored or rejected either from a lack of being able to grasp the concepts or through a deliberate choice to just wind people up. Yes it is... and it sucks in more air from outside which is moving the tissue. The wheel moves the air because it physically interacts with it when it spins. Nothing to do with gravity at all and all to do with fluid dynamics - as you well know. It's omnidirectional. You cant channel it through a pipe and you know it. Bye.
  21. Mate - it is clear that the movement of the tissue is due to air currents sucked into the tube by the air that is sucked in due to the rotating 'fan' that you have in the tube. You can't - you measure the FORCE felt from it's influence. The force between 2 masses is as follows (iirc): F = G.M1.M2. / 4piEor^2 G is a constant. M1 and M2 are the masses of the 2 objects r is the distance between them 4piEo is another / is part of the constant that crops up a lot. Forces are easy enough to measure. It isn't so easy to prove this equation on the bench though because the forces between objects due to their masses is very small. VERY small.... otherwise we'd be crushed on the earth..... which is massive. The attraction isn't directional either - which adds more weight to my argument (or obvious fact) that the movement of the tissue is from air movement. We can literally see it in your set up in the video - it is air being sucked in. You can tell that because the tissue is being 'sucked' towards the tube exactly the same way it would if it were being 'sucked' by a fan in the tube or some spinning weight. It is clear. I'm not sure why you aren't believing it.
  22. What questions in particular? What do YOU think will happen to smoke in a vacuum chamber? The fact you ask the question about smoke in a VACUUM chamber is very telling. Very very weakly it does, yes.... according the equation I put up earlier. It is measurable exactly and the experiments are reproducible exactly every time to confirm it.
  23. Yea - it was awful. I wasn't sure whether to post this here or in your Nazi thread. I wonder what current day Nazi's think of the film. They probably think it was faked, didn't happen or that it was exaggerated fake news. idk. How mislead or evil must someone be to consider other human beings as vermin? How does one get so detached from humanity?
  24. no need for anyone to do that - because most of it is drivel and you have presented nothing but a clear misunderstanding of the science involved with attraction due to gravity.
