I had an idear, and pondered weather it could be possible to take a peltier and heat one side to extream temperatures at the same time cryogenically freeze the other side.....? so i have started to construction. Firstly the cryogenic freezer: I purchased a 12-volt wine bottle cooler which I intend on upgrading... I am using homemade alcahol at 100% and using a 12-volt fuel pump to pump it through a copper tubed radiater, an rc turboprop cooled 6"by7"all copper heat exchanger. Connected to 8mm copper tube coils submerged in alcahol and in vacuum flasks x3 to act as storage batteries for the cold also vacuum sealed, x1 bronze and x1 copper cpu water Cooling blocks for alcahol chill transfer to the vacuum held peltier 12- volt wine bottle chiller also sealed in a vacuum, the peltier will be connected to a dc digital volt meter.. Lots of fun constructing all connections are either brass compression fittings or brazed. The hot side : I have started to construct the high temperature system to deliver heat to the opposite side of the peltier I intend on heating a ball of graphite in a ceramic crucible using a.... laser amplifyer I designed myself powered by a 3.7volt battery... The graphite is heated in a vacuum until it is white hot reflected by a gold plated silver bowl infrared passes through the vacuum and projector lenses to form a disc of heat which is focused onto the peltier.. looking great!!! a little steam-punk-ish... Lol
  2. Carbon 60 was recreated on earth by scientists after observing it in gas nebular. It's molecular structure is that of many footballs it was created in a belljar with helium at a seventh of an atmosphere using graphite rods vaporised using an ark welder... What I am saying is if... whilst I vaporise electricaly magnesium wire using two graphite rods to detonate hydrogen and oxygen in a combustion chamber and the partial vacuum is a seventh of an atmosphere with a little helium it could possibly lubricate the plasma...!!

Stainless steel is a good for building a jet engine housing as well as the combustion chamber I built mine with thermos flasks and a thermos jug I cut them up and riveted them together I used a bunson burner gas jet and twelve blade electric ducted brushless motor from an rc plane I also used a varable esc... it's a metre long with the after burner: works well..! I hope this helps you...

If helium were to be added to the hydrogen oxygen vacuum and if the vacuum were to be a seventh of an atmosphere... at the point of detonation some of the graphite which would have been vaporised would be converter to Buckminster fulerene: carbon. 60. And as C.60 has a molecular structure that of a football ie pentagons and hexagons it would lubricate the plasma and wouldn't be affected by the heat..just a thought!!!

Hi...my idear is to drive two separate air tube coils at the same time... one around the other... but held apart so when they are given a charge each coils electromagnetic field works in unison with the other. Each coils input voltage is directed so the outer coil is fired in reverse and the inner coil fired so the cores em-field is forwardly moving the coils also would have a soft iron tube enclosing the magnetic field forming an em-shield. A bullet of aluminium with a drill hole at its rear is spun by an electric motor to a high speed just inside the beginning of the barrel, the other end of the tube has a tea intersecting tube and the end of the barrel is sealed with a birst disc the bottom of the tea pipe is then attached to a piston also driven electromagneticaly which forms when fired a high vacuum within the barrel and draws the projectile into the coils em-field. The spun aluminium bullet gives up a magnetic field and is turned into an electromagnet and as the coils work together there is no suckback just power....! And because I would use tube coils.. if I were to connect each one together using a rubber tube I could keep it cool using chilled pumped alcahol...
  7. Try using a Stream machine water blaster to draw a vacuum... look it up on ebay... Be careful ebay is full of scammers check out the negative feedback before purchasing..
  8. I have recently come across a child's toy water piston a syringe about 3ft long x2"wide and perfect for drawing a high vacuum I live in the UK so I don't no if these are available to you, but I have seen them on ebay just look for child's splash water piston.. Good luck!!!

I haven't made a lighrbulb but I did design one a few years back it consisted of a graphite rod say 5cm long and 6mm wide, which I would have drilled into one end and attached to a support, the other end drilled to 30mm deep, the whole thing fitted inside a pyrex rolling pin with holed rubber bungs partialy coated with foil to reflect heat and light, one to support the graphite rod with a ceramic dowel and the other to evacuate to a high vacuum and alow the beam of a powerful infrared laser to pass through a prizm and heat the graphite internally heat upon heat until light is emitted... Voltage of the laser 3.7v. I wouldn't expect you would need the laser to be permanently on just there to top up heat when it was needed. I also designed a laser amplifyer which I would have also used to assist the formation of heat using a strobe light and a magnetic field to theta pinch the photon rich ion plasma of the xenon gas to the path of a lasers beam .
  10. Hi my name is Mike I am 51years old and have been designing and building my mad inventions most of my life. I started contemplating a plasma gun about five years ago, I designed and began construction and after some time of deliberation I decided to use a shock tube design, It consisted of a charging circuit capacitor bank fired by an S.C.R discharging between two drilled graphite rods which are holding a magnesium wire inside a tea shaped burst disc sealed chamber it is holding back a high vacuum held inside a tapering barrell also fitted with a burst disk at the end, an intersecting tea junktion is fitted just before the end Birst disc to allow a vacuum to be drawn, a pipe leading to an on/off gas tap so the vacuum can be housed and the vacuum pump used can be used to draw a vacuum inside the hydrogen oxygen generator system I also designed, three other gas taps were used so four in total to govern gas flow and vacuum to prime the gun. The generator pumps both hydrogen and oxygen through a flashback arrester into the detonation chamber. It is a pretty cool design when the h2o2 detonates inside a partial vacuum it's gas is exellerated and expands at a higher velocity, also the plasma of the detonating wire super heats the gas vapourizing the birst disc and adding to the gas volume. The gas is then folded by a holed ceramic disc fitted in the birst disc cavity,....folded to a vortex it is drawn into the vacuum by expansion and retraction. The vortex is compressed and rotational speed increases as the vortex moves forward down the barrel. The vortex heat is amplified by friction and reduction compression, as the plasma leaves though the guns final birst disc it's heat repels the air away forming a vacuum around itself and as it has no impact friction the speed it leaves the gun is the speed it hits the target at, shock waves would also cause damage. Heat from the operator's hands and body as well as a solar, would power a well made prototype mine is ok but I have to admit I would love to have had built a lightweight good looking gun that has try-gate re-usable birst discs and an electromagnetic vacuum forming piston maybe one day. P's i haven't fired mine as the construction could be unsafe so it will just be shelved until I can afford to upgrade to a fireing model. I hope that my idea has given all that can hopefully understand my explanation of the workings a need to experiment themselves either on paper or models... be cool...
