  1. Im just curious if there would be any difference at all.
  2. This is quite an eye opener for me. Thank you very much and id like to ask google some basic questions as im sure all of us have at some point. So over a cup of grey earl I curiously typed into google, “ who invented the computer?” At the same time I had also asked my girlfriend that question. However none of the responses gave me any great comfort because I felt it was alot of peoples contributions built into one. With that being said I wanted to know perhaps whose contribution yeilded the greatest results.
  3. I am trying to place an atomic clock inside of a foucault pendulum. I then want to have 5 of them set up at key waypoints from the north to the south pole recording time inside of the pendulum as it swings. With this data from all the way points we can then observe how time inside of a pendulum may be different than time on earth. Or it could be a big waste of time period. But a fun pricey experiment I will try to conduct.
  4. Well this is why im glad we have access to this kind of forum because we can gather great minds from all over the world to give their own unique input.
  5. I was in a debate about these two grand characters a few days ago and wanted to know what the community thinks about it. We have two great minds in Alan Turing and Charles Babbage. We decided to see which of them had a greater contribution to the advancement of the computer as well as how to interact and implement them in every day life. All replies welcomed!
  6. I just wanted to express freedom of speech. If you want to delete the thread then by all means I have no control over that. I believe you have the power of censorship and you can utilize that in any way you deem appropriate.
  7. Well now that space x has the technology for reusable rockets in theory you could just refill and send more mirrors by the payload. Perhaps even have a mini station in there as well like the iss. Hopefully we can design the mirrors to fold in during turbulent times like space debris or storms.
  8. Im sure 6000 degrees is ample energy for this to be a weapon. Imagine launching a mirror into space that can reflect the suns energy towards a specified target. You could have enormous power until someone shoots your mirror down.
  9. Just watched 60 minutes where they talked about “deep fakes” which is quite scary. Perhaps “deep fakes” technology was available decades ago…
  10. Im pretty sure that Bletchley Park had very much to do with D Day as well
  11. Talk about a deadly weapon!!! If a nation can have this in orbit they can literally conduct warfare from space. Imagine putting this over a certain part of the targeted area and cause massive heat to your enemy.
  12. After doing 3 years of professional photography and also avid research into astronomy I am convinced with the technology that we have that we can finally debunk the conspiracy of whether or not we actually landed on the moon. This means no offense to the families of astronauts that have claimed to make the trip, however this monolithic task of being on the moon within the decade (according to JFK) was literally unbelievable. We have access to photos and videos of this event. We can then process those images to see if it was fallacy or reality. Note: I was born in the 90’s therefore I was unable to witness this event in person. However I have accumulated as many videos and pictures as possible as well as the position of the stars for lighting at the time. I am also very curious as to how the flag could wave back and forth in the vacuum atmosphere of space. This oddly enough resembles wind on the surface of the moon. Or perhaps the more insidious reasoning for this exploration to the moon was because of the tension between two powerhouse nations during the Cold War. I have friends who give valid points on both sides to this argument. We are nerds however our group does enjoy conspiracy theories from time to time and we attempt to debunk them. P.S. Was alien tech involved?
  13. Discovery Channel- Secret Nazi Bases S2 E1 Inside The Terror Factory. This was while they were creating the V-2 rocket. Blueprints of that design (mile wide mirror in outerspace) was eventually confiscated by the allies. This also gave everyone insight of capabilities to place devices and satellites and rockets etc. into our orbit. I am NOT A NAZI, however their understanding of science at that time was head and shoulders above everyone else. Thank God for Bletchley park who were able to eavesdrop and crack codes on Nazi agendas.
  14. I heard the Nazis where trying to implement a mile wide mirror located in outerspace to direct heat to a certain area causing severe climate change. Is this even possible? How would you test this?
  15. Sorry didnt know that rule. Thanks alot guys, im glad if nothing else that this sparked conversation. Im not trying to be famous or anything im just trying to SAVE OUR PLANET. Way to let me down gently 🤒 However I will still continue to redesign, find new materials for max efficiency to capture and use solar.
