If the orifice is small, the jet exit velocity is faster and the time to deplete the bladder is longer. A larger jet exit orifice produces a slower jet velocity of larger mass for a shorter time until the bladder depletes. Which orifice provides more propulsion (as to reach further, not faster ?) How does nature selected the optimal orifice size for the octopus need ? Proportionally to the size/mass of the growing octopus ?

The 'two by four' studs aren't even 1 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 96" if measured carefully. What is going/gone wrong here ? Why this habit of misleading ? Greetings. Seen a couple of machines that melt shredded plastics in used hot oil for the process of recycling. Seems there is not much mixing as plastics being heavier, stay submerged by the bottom of the vessel in a nearly liquified state layer. Seems the oil is just the media to convey the heat source thoroughly. What would differ choosing used motor oil, used vegetable oil, used transmission fluid, used hydraulic oil ? Would any be more convenient than other ?
