Leading scientific research center heavily damaged, biology labs destroyed
That depends where you stand in this conflict, I think, whether it's pro-Israeli or anti-Iranian. I don't feel that the BBC is a reliable source for geopolitical news. I feel increasingly that it deceives by omission. The AP and Al Jazeera (surprisingly) are more neutral. By 'neutral' I mean there appears to be no obvious attempt to ''guide' the consumer towards a particular view or interpretation. The BBC tends to use emotionally loaded words as though it institutionally believes it has the correct "moral" position on what is right or wrong. The BBC, and a few others, are regarded as being at the apex of news dissemination, but I don't think it can hold a candle to AP, Reuters or Al Jazeera. It's not a matter of taking sides, but Iran has internal issues that only be solved internally. Many leading Israeli people speak of a "Greater Israel" as an aspiration; that's colonialist talk. That's a real problem involving Syria and Lebanon. It is not an exaggeration to say that Israel is the elephant in the room.

Probably self-censoring.

Leading scientific research center heavily damaged, biology labs destroyed
Unlikely if it's in AP News.

Where is the evidence for natural selection and the origin of species?
Right.

Where is the evidence for natural selection and the origin of species?
Hydrogen was the first element to exist, the rest occurred during fusion processes of hydrogen within stars and their supernova.

Where is the evidence for natural selection and the origin of species?
The common 'ancestor' of all elements in the Periodic Table is hydrogen. The conditions determined where and how often these elements appeared. Just like biological evolution.

"Not logical, Captain".

In evolutionary terms, 'fitness' is the ability to transfer genetic information to the next generation under varying environmental conditions. An organism that can replicate its genes through a long series of adverse conditions over others that fall by the wayside is described as 'fit'. The environment modulates the frequency of alleles (single features) by the prevalence of hostile and favourable environmental inputs selecting which alleles persist by allowing the transfer of genetic information. The environment is effectively the 'designer' of all life. That's evolution.

- An Easy Way for Israel to Defeat Iran
On the face of it, yes, but not once you learn that over the last 120-130 years, the political ideology of Zionism has parasitized and concealed itself in the acceptable face of Judaism and capitalized on their suffering to achieve their territorial and, presently, their expansionist colonial aspirations. It's not actually genuine diasporic religious Jews that are causing the problems.- An Easy Way for Israel to Defeat Iran

Yes it's a complicated situation. ISIS is being funded by Israel and the Yazidis are victims in this mess, but it's the main geopolitical currents driving this conflict that have to be addressed first.- An Easy Way for Israel to Defeat Iran

This will only increase Iran's resolve to have nukes. Not surprised, Israel is a threat to the region with its expansionist aspirations of a Greater Israel.- Galaxies seem to have a preferred direction of rotation
When galaxies were forming, they were much closer together. Given that spacetime tells matter how to move, could the global spacetime, as opposed to local, configuration in the earliest epoch of galaxy formation been biased in that proportion; preferentially leaning towards one direction of rotation?- The "Third Condiment Mystery"
Apparently, it's mentioned in some late 19th century catalogues as for mustard powder. The authour theorizes that the third shaker disappeared because of lack of popular use of mustard powder sometime after. or it was replaced for the wet stuff, which negated the need for that one. Sugar use was dismissed because that was extremely expensive for common use when these things were conceived some 250 years ago.- Who will be the first to go?

The Brave AI disagrees with Google AI: Gravity Strength Scale-Dependent Gravity's strength is indeed scale-dependent. On a macroscopic scale, such as between planets and stars, gravity is influenced by the mass and distance between objects. The greater the mass of the objects involved, the stronger the gravitational force, and the closer the objects are to each other, the stronger the gravitational pull. On a microscopic scale, gravity is much weaker compared to other fundamental forces like electromagnetism. This is why the gravitational force between everyday objects like people, cars, and balls is negligible. Is that answer better?
