That is not an answer to a question I stated now is it. To make it easier for both of us, I will state what I have to say and not drag you into a duel. Firstly, Seriously Disabled stated some awful arguments but that does not necessarily mean that what he's trying to get across is false - would you agree ? Secondly, there is exactly zero evidence on the existence of alien life and exactly zero evidence on the existence of God. In my opinion those two zero evidence non-facts are a "bit" different. Thirdly, I asked you if you could disprove unicorns. The answer is you cannot. Lastly...aplying 2+2=4 logic into these kinds of discussions will not give you the big picture and will most certainly drag you into a filthy ad hominem argument. Edit: "Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence" is just plain silly.

As much as I agree on the discussion about the "fact" logic, I would also like to see you disprove the existence of unicorns. Edit: Is it safe to say that you use an aproach where there is equal lack of evidence on existence of god, aliens and unicorns?

I agree and this would be a great foundation to start with, to build an IQ test which would reflect the true level of overall "intelligence" in an individual. But I don't think that devising such a complex IQ test is remotely possible.

This question is a bit vague. Could you give a little more background? Is it maybe that the guitars are being played simultaneously? If your question is what it is than there is a lot of room for player interpretation while playing the same notes on a guitar (or any other instrument) Also there is no such thing as "identical" guitars, every guitar sounds a little different due to age, usage, small construction differences, etc. Air temperature, air pressure have impact too. If we look at this from a cold, science point of view, heres what it would look like. If you put 2 identical guitars played by a robot into a studio, they would sound the same. Except they wouldn't, for the reasons above. Edit: Just to give you an example of what might be relevant here, here's a "phase shift" example: If the 2 guitars are being played (almost) simultaneously and their "phase shift" is lets say 1/10 of a second you would hear a slight echo effect. If the shift would be larger, lets say half a second - you would hear a significantly stronger echo effect. Hope this helps.

With the complexity of the human mind I think we are very far away from creating a truly adequate IQ test. From what I've seen, these online IQ tests don't even scratch the surface. Plus a thought of such a complex IQ test coming into existence makes me sick. Imagine what would employers do with it.

+1. Wise words. I think what delboy means is that we didn't evolve enough as individuals. Only a handful of people have knowledge and the rest of civilisation advancement was done by collective learning and passing of the knowledge from generation to generation. As an example I would use a smartphone - everybody has one but only a handul of us could describe in detail how it works.
