  1. That is extraordinary. May I ask how did you come up with those numbers?
  2. That is true. But small, good things which require no money will make feel one better. A lot better. To a point in which one will no longer be convinced that he/she will stay poor forever.
  3. Chill out. Go out with a girlfriend and do something. Oh and believe me that we men know what PMS is...it can be a very dangerous condition but it is never dangerous for the girl if you know what I mean
  4. For lack of a better word, the lenght metric is "contained" within space-time so it's not the same. I guess. I too have difficulties in grasping some of Swansont's posts. Sometimes I read them 5 times and still don't get it. Thats what you get for not being a physicist.
  5. I'm glad we cleared that up and now we agree on this. Your initial statement implied horrible lack of empathy.
  6. ...and genetic predispositiion may cause a dissorder in humans which may lead to a higher risk of suicide - this is obvious. It's not synonymous to "suicide is an evolutionary trait" though.
  7. Infinities are semi-graspable for me in math but infinitely small volume containing mass stuck in an infinitely curved space-time is weirdness to infinty.
  8. How is a suicide death of a deeply troubled and/or seriously depressed/ill person bread for another man?
  9. It's an attempt at quantum gravity but imatfaal is right, we are not sure about the true nature of the singularity.
  10. Ha, youre right imatfaal. But that just confirms that you "fall into a gravity field of a black hole" instead of "onto a black hole"
  11. The dense matter inside a black hole is called a "Singularity" It's a very small object, quantum levell small. By falling into a black hole people mean that you fall into the ridiculously strong gravitational field which the singularity produces. You don't fall onto a black hole, you fall into...it's gravitational field.
  12. No fever but I feel like crap and I can feel it in my throat that something is getting me.

Yeah, inhalations are supposed to work good.

I've given it to my sis-in-law; you'd think she's got man flu; she's 'dying'. :D

My head today is officialy the density of a neutron star due to the amount of snot in my sinuses. On the good side- I don't feel like dying anymore.

  13. Did you use an integrated sphere for you experiment or a similar closed system that would eliminate outside interference ? A time axis would be nice too. Assuming that you performed the experiment in a closed environment, the source is your halogen lamp. Note that halogen lamps nor any other sources of light never give absolutely uniform outputs. There are fluctuations due to various reasons. In your case, I suspect that the source is fluctuating in the IR wavelenght region due to the halogen technology...the gass bombarded by electrons in your halogen bulb simply fluctuates enough for your spectrometer to detect it. These fluctuations will be present especially at turn on and turn off of the source. A stabilised halogen source (let it run for a minute or so) should be more uniform.
  14. I havent realised that the two notions which you point out are an integral part of this excersise. These two notions do render the experiment useless :/ Thanks for the post.
  15. When I first came to this forum about two and a half months ago, Studiot greeted me in my thread (determinism thread) by giving me the benefit of doubt that I am not another preacher and stated that you guys had a bunch of them lately. I looked up some of the threads then and found that indeed there were preacher rants all over. It was SUMMER time then. We have FALL now (at least in europe) and the preachers got replaced with crackpots. Just sayin Strange...this is my attempt at irony. Seriously though, I admire your patience in dealing with the title thread and other threads as well.
  16. Ha, I hear ya I don't know if you play poker but there is a lot of deception involved so flashing a hand may not always mean what it seems.
  17. Tom. I have not insulted you in any way so far. You clearly have difficulties in understanding basic communication. Let me rephrase what I stated - I am afraid that the things you post are going to make morons of other people out there.
  18. Tom. Your gibberish contains some barely visible traces of physics but it's all mangled into a mix which breeds morons. Frankly I am afraid that some kid or someone with no or very little physics knowledge might read what you wrote in this thread and might mistake it for science.

    Third Debate

I've finished watching right now, taped it because it was on at 03:00am my time. Frankly, I've watched the previous 2 debates very thoroughly but I skimmed throught this third one as I've had enough of Trump's demeanor and primitvie rhetoric. I don't think that he's made a single strong or semi-strong argument, he's just attacking Clinton, talking "make america great again" like a broken record and the "wall" thing is just plain surreal by now. Whats horribly worrying is how he got to where he is. How is it possible that he's up there running for president, this is beyond me. Anyway I think he's done and kudos to Clinton for keeping her cool.
  20. As opposed to Strange I don't think that you are lying Tom and I have just one question instead of 12. I suspect that since your #65 post fails to fulfill your above statement which is your post #63 and you loaded us with numerology BS once again, you have to realise youreself that there is something wrong with your perception of what is going on around you. My question is: What do you think it might be ?
