    MECHANICAL ACCELERATION:- The mechanical Accelerator combines both centrifugal & gravitional forces.     This is all hypothetical and probably never happens this way. I'm trying to picture a particle that occupies the very centre of gravity for a planet for instance. Is that little particle generating the gravitational pull that is holding the planet together? Why isn't that particle pulled away from the centre by the surrounding mass? Could gravity be pulling in all directions within an object with mass? Seems as if mass doesn't do the attracting but its something else. Can someone clear this up for me? I know you guys/gals have come through before.

  4. Long read. Anyways, when I was young I would always rack my brain as to how everything could be the way it is now today. I developed this idea probably when I was 14 or so.. I see that many scientists are starting to pick up the idea of what I had when I was young. I would always be confronted with the idea of the big bang. I always thought the big bang was ridiculous and impossible for a possibilty to explain how the universe was created. My idea was that the Universe was of pure white light in the beginning.     Are planets and matter etc still being created/evolving as part of the Universe,or had the Universe reached it's maximum a certain number of years after the so called Big Bang? The Universe now would not have the heat of billions of degreesC like it did in the begining to cause any new planets ect to be created

    I recently watched a documentary regarding Saturn's rings. It spoke of a theory which stated the rings were possibly formed from the destruction of a moon orbitting Saturn. It caused me to wonder - theoretically, of course - what would happen if our own Moon was destroyed in some way - would Earth eventually (I presumed there would be a nuclear winter-style fallout over Earth's atmosphere for X amount of time) gain similar rings? What would the immediate and long-term effects be? Any of you care to shed light on my query?

    Hi I have posted thios before but in short just say that parrele universes are proved, and they are layed on top of each other say 1 second behind and 1 second in front and so on. Well i have read on this form to open a sort of wormhole or something to take you to a parrele universe you would need a enormous amount of energy well would the big bang not have produced enough energy to open up such a hole.     We have just been learning about elliptcal orbits of comets and there was a computer model of elliptcal orbits and it showed them slow changing orbital paths so that the oval shape of the orbit slowly rotates around a point and eventually the comet/planet maps out its original path. How can this be if we continue to see the same comets flying past the Earth every 100years or so surely we should only see them every 1000years or so? not very clear...SORRY but I'm very confused.

    Physical Review Letters v78, n3, p424 contains an article by I. Levine, D. Koltick and about 30 others on the electron. The space around the electron contains polarised vacuum charges which shield the core of the electron. By colliding electrons and positrons at high energy, they could eliminate some of the shielding effect and test quantum electrodynamics in this way.     I went to a lecture yesterday given by Prof Bernard Pagel on neutrinos and we briefly touched on young galaxies, notable 1 Zwicky 47 which is around 500 million years old and he remarked that the metallicity of the stars were pretty much zero - I briefly discussed with him that I cannot accept that there were huge blobs of primordial matter, from the Big Bang, that was still unseeded by elements higher than Li. He agreed that this was a mystery and that maybe there was some other answers, like all that we see are very large, very old white stars mixed in with small amounts of 2nd & 3rd gen stars.     Ok I know the picture is a little hard to make out but i havent had time to make a 3D representation with spheres and such. Anyways you ever wonder how ships in movies stay upright all the time and dont come to another ship upside down? you need a 6 point sun grid to create a zero point axis in space to have a north and south, the suns are used as X X Y Y Z Z you need two of each because space is a 3 dimensional enviroment with no real up and down or left or right. You look back to the original periodic table made by Mendeleev (this is where the idea first struck me) the elements are alligned by similar chemical properties. "Gruppe" (I'm assuming Group) IV contains Carbon, Silicon, Titanium, Germanium, etc. (For the modern table it would be columns 13, 4, and elements 58,65,90,97) My question is, under what conditions would planets/planetoids/comets/other cosmic bodies be formed where any one of those elements would be a prominent one.
