So I was watching another Universe installment by the History Channel and they briefly touched on the subject of The Big Crunch theory - something about it simply being the opposite of the Big Bang in that the universe will eventually stop expanding and then contract back to that single point. Is there any reason to believe the physical laws could change, even subtley, as a result of this contraction? For that matter, is it at all plausible that the physical laws have even subtley changed over the course of our universe's 13 billion year history? In terms of fiction, that would seem interesting, but I'm betting it's short on scientific reasoning.

Time is only in the present, athough you may look back at time, from example; looking at the sky at night, where some light has not reached us yet so still appears dark. you may wonder if there is some transformation from one 'now' to the next, i think this is called change. I think that two seperately occuring events have a change to transform in to the next event, I wonder if time is the 'medium' for change to occur.

If and when we see a psychic entity such as spirits, ghosts and other phenomena, we do not actually see them by the use of the eye. That is, light is not entering the eye from the phenomena but, the phenomenon is picked up directly by the optic and auditory nerves. Before this can happen, the mind under certain conditions drifts towards the upper and lower end of the visual electromagnetic spectrum. Thus, we may believe we see a ghost, but actually the phenomenon is projected into that part of the brain. People such as mediums can at will, can drift to that part of the spectrum when needed. The “Elephant in the room” is a phenomenon which the community insists is not there. If suggested the community can offer an absolute experimental proof that this cannot exist. Hello this is my very first post here, so I thought I would play it safe and put this subject in Pseudoscience and Speculations. Anyway, I like to design stuff particualrly spacecraft. I designed this particular space ship several years ago. I would just like to ask the question; given how conventional space travel is progressing do you think it would be possible to build a ship capable of travelling fast enought to explore our solar system within a ten year mission scedule.
