Suggestions, Comments and Support

The page and contents load quickly and that's all good but each page seems to continue loading something for several minutes after everything relevant appears to have loaded (this is on a T1 connection so it's not a connection speed issue). Not sure what it is but it's annoying and somewhat disconcerting (just what IS it loading in the background?) especially as there are adverts on display which can include all sorts of nasties.

Here is a list of things that need to be worked on: -Science Chat -Science Arcade -Encyclopedia Module (only one entry!) -More Polls Module -The more polls link on the main page right under the current poll -Avatars are yet not uploaded -Sayonara's name has a funny bit of code at the end of it I'll add more stuff as I go around the site! I made a few posts earlier today from a computer other than I normally use. Now that I'm home the threads a posted on seem to be cut short, like they're missing the last few posts, occasionaly mine. Did anyone delete them or am I just going crazy?

Specially religious / pseudo-science ones. I just feel that lately too many low-intelligence pro-creationism bored antisemetical rude racists people join as members just to trash whoever they feel like that doesnt fit their notions. And no, I don't mean that all creationists are low intelligence, so all you creationists out there don't throw words into my mouth. We're not a religious site, nor are we political one. I like the arcade, but I think it will cut into the amount of people actually posting. Maybe you could make a limit for it, otherwise people will just join for the arcade!

My boyfriend (Photovet 97) is over here and wanted to post something, but we weren't able to log out my account. We hit the "Log Out" link at the top of the page and hit "OK" when the dialogue box shows up. It then takes us to a "All Cookies Cleared" page, but when we go back to the main page, I'm still logged in. Any idea what's going on?

On the home page, there is a list of threads. I have seen the one with 'new materails' about twice now, and yet, nothing shows that there is a page view on that. Is this normal?

I assume that the reputation graphic (the little box one rather than the scales) is meant to appear green/red depending on positive or negative reputation. I'm red/green colour blind so I can't see the status. Mainly because of the chosen colours and partly because it is so small. Is there any chance of you changing this to colours that can be more easily differentiated. 1 in 30 males have this same problem so it's not just for my benefit.

The avatars section, where u get to choose ur avatar, doesn't show any of the pics. Can this be fixed, or is it already in the process of fixing?

Thesearch feature will not work, and it has not worked in the past few months or so. It is not just my computer/ network. I have tried thesearch featureon this site many times on many other computers and networks. Am i doingsomething wrong, or is it just not effective???? HELP!!! Please

I just noticed that when you quote, it doesn't always say the post number. It just says "In quote # :" Why? (not that it's noticed by anyone but nitpickers)

I am looking for a science project. I was suggested to do a project about the helmholtz resonant....its a project that deals with acustics. Its a spherical container with two little spouts that help project beter frequency or something....i cant find if there is a special mathematical explanation for the construction or how far apart one container should be set from another ina building.... Im new to this site.....so if anyone has a notion of acustics I would appreciate the help....also the cost of making each apparatus..... Thank you Lors

I've set the option in my cpanel to automatically email me when somebody replies to a thread I'm involved in. It doesn't seem to be working. Is it turned off by default or is there another problem? It's quite annoying because I have to keep checking to see whose answered.

it keeps on telling me that the server is too busy only when i login. What is the problem?

Whenever I click on the smilie list (after going to get more) i get the message: The page you requested does not exist on this server (/forums/java%20script:opener.smilie(':confused:')). 404 :/
